Jack Hibbs, a prominent Southern California mega-church pastor is calling for Gov. Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass to be removed from office over their handling of the devastating wildfires.

“It’s time for change in California,” Hibbs added. “After witnessing devastating failures in leadership, it’s clear that the people of California deserve much better. It’s time to stand up for the future of this state and support leaders who truly care about the people and take the action necessary so that this never happens again.”
Hibbs addressed his influential congregation during multiple Sunday services blasting the incompetence that led to the disaster.
“California has been under unmitigated Democrat control,” he said. “Democrat supermajority. What does that mean? Supermajority? It means nobody can oppose their decision making. And now you’ve got it. You’ve got a situation where a catastrophe came and the billions of dollars that you and I gave was diverted to other woke stupid Democrat projects. That’s not that’s not hyperbole. It is a fact. You don’t like it, Change your party if you don’t like a change different. But I’m telling you right now I’m upset and I’m angry and it’s the right kind of anger.
Hibbs also pleaded with Christians across California to mobilize and help those who lost their homes. He also urged his congregation to support first responders.
“Please make this our theme, our anthem song in the midst of our sufferings at this hour,” Hibbs said. “Do not fall for the lie that God has abandoned California. Believe in the truth – He has made California for His glory. He has made you for His glory.”
“Therefore, let us arise from here to love one another first – then let us go forth to love the world that hates us, for they know not what they do,” the pastor added. “California is about to experience the love it has been looking for without knowing where to find it. We must go to them now with His love upon our hearts, hands, and feet.”
Hibbs is doing what the church used to do. Get involved in political matters but now days the church at large is afraid of losing their 503c status which is an illegal scare tactic by the govt’ to keep them quiet & as a voter it’s impossible to figure out what these candidates really support. Voter pamphlets are intentionally vague at best.

I always enjoy listening to Jack Hibbs! I first met him at a Jan Markell conference at Grace Church in Eden Prairie MN. He tells it like it is!! He’s the pastor that got in trouble for praying a real prayer in front of Congress! He’s not afraid to tell the truth!! He’s very pro-Israel and not afraid to convey that to the world! God Bless him!!
