This video clip, which was produced especially for the Jewish High Holidays, shows the IDF chief cantor and IDF soldiers singing the prayer “Unetanneh Tokef” in the Great Synagogue in Tel Aviv. The video features footage of the Yom Kippur War and one of its heroes, Brig. Gen. (res.) There was no letup for Israel during the holiest day in the Jewish calendar

The jihadist terrorists of Hezbollah launched some 320 rockets, mortars and drones out of Lebanon into Israel during Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar. 

On the eve of Yom Kippur, two drones entered Israeli airspace from central Lebanon, with one hitting a housing facility for the elderly in Herzliya. 

There were also two rockets were fired Saturday from northern Gaza, landing in Ashkelon. 

Three people were lightly wounded by the force of the explosion in Western Galilee after a rocket landed in their vicinity.

NEWSRAEL: We have decided that this is a significant event to break into our stoppage of news during the Yom Kippur Holiday.

Iran is experiencing a massive cyber attack, especially on its nuclear facilities.

Firouzabadi, the former secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace of Iran, announced that almost all of Iran’s government forces, including the judiciary, legislature and executive, have suffered severe cyber attacks and information theft.

In addition, he added that Iran’s nuclear facilities, along with nearly all branches of government have faced heavy cyberattacks, resulting in stolen information.

NEWSRAEL: This event has the possibility, of course, as being a prelude to a full-out attack on Iran. We will follow it and if we deem necessary, we will follow up on this story with further reports during Yom Kippur.

Father, I pray that this cyber attack has impacted Iran in such a powerful way. We thank You for watching over Israel – the Apple of Your Eye!!
