Brethren, it was so wonderful talking to our brother on the phone! Even with all he has endured, he had me laughing so hard!  I know we all miss his humor which comes through so clearly in his writing.

Dale has a long uphill battle – he has been so terribly sick. His voice sounded pretty strong.

We need to pray about his depression. He said that so many of the staff want him to see someone about being depressed. He is resistant to that because he thinks that he will get an unbeliever who will have no idea what Dale will be saying (when he talks about the Lord.)

But I told Dale that Tim has seen psychiatrists at the VA for many years because of his PTSD. And that a few of his doctors were strong Christians! Only God knows whom he will get!

Let’s continue to pray for our brother, for his physical, emotional and spiritual well being. When he gets well enough to leave the hospital, he will go to a rehab before going home.
