Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
Is it me, or does there seem to be an overall lack of courage among believers in the west? God has commanded us to “Be Strong and Courageous” numerous times throughout the Bible. Too many of us operate under the yoke of fear. We have become a society of apathy, decadence, cruelty, and cowardliness. As believers should we not firstly obey God? I certainly think He might know better than we do, yes?
Let’s clarify a few things first. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, Ephesians 2:8
I am ALL about grace and no one despises legalism more than I. It implies that Christ’s work on the cross was not enough. Bear in mind throughout what I write, I am not discussing salvation. I am writing these things assuming the reader is saved. If you are not saved STOP NOW! READ THIS: HOW CAN I BE SAVED
I am exhorting us to walk better in Him our Master and Lord. If we claim we are His, should we not obey God always? His word tells us to:
“If you love Me, keep My commandments. John 14:15
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. John 14:23
But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. James 1:22
“But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do the things which I say? Luke 6:46
I could go on and on with scores of scriptures in the New Testament alone.
Since God tells us over and over to be “Be Strong and Courageous” shouldn’t we heed His command? Brethren, it is time that we as individuals come to that reckoning.
For far too long, I listened to my brothers and sisters solving all the problems of the church. Constantly worrying about how others ought to be doing X, Y, and Z. Yet they themselves do little or nothing but are concerned with another. I am counted guilty of that very same thing. Thankfully, a trip to Gods woodshed (massive conviction) drove that arrogance far from me.
How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. How do you build the Roman empire? One brick at a time. Therefore, how do you make church ready for what is coming? Yes, one individual at a time. Just as in the days of Nehemiah each person MUST concentrate on the little bit of wall in front of their house. The result: the city walls were completed and fortified. If we as individuals obey God, the church becomes very much effective as a whole.

Finally, a doer is out on the front lines! Is this person some big tough brave guy? No. This ferocious warrior is 29-year-old lady that has had enough of Satan, his lies, his destruction, his murder, his deceit, and his distortion of God’s truth. We all were introduced to her a few weeks past when she made national headlines painting over the Black Lives Matter mural in New York City. The more I researched this amazing young woman the more inspired I get. She gets all around the country fighting for the Lord and opposing evil.
Watch this interview of her:
Here she is near an abortion clinic with some self proclaimed witches heckling her:

I don’t know about you all but, I am very inspired by her courage. It seems she literally obeys God, walks with him, and loves Jesus in the face of opposition and fearlessly.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Revelation 12:11
Ms. Beatty is VERY Precious to God. When someone is VERY precious to God, they become equally precious to Satan. She needs our prayers for safety.
She certainly has the courage of Esther!
Rally yourselves and get in the fight! <—–Me included
Shalom,

I realized something in God’s statement ” If Anyone loves me , he WILL keep my word.” Not a question but a statement. Thank you for a new view. Amen.
