Recently, President Trump made an executive order to protect Jewish students on campuses nationwide. In the Order, Trump stated that funds will be withheld from campuses which turn a blind eye to rabid Anti Semitism.

Naturally, the Leftwing news sources are speaking out that this is an infringement on free speech.

Backfire??  Think about how this same article, if it was written about Blacks, Hispanics, LGBTQ, Palestinians  or Muslims, would stir the hornet’s nest which is the Leftwing Media!  This is ludicrous!

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Spencer Kaplan, a junior at Duke University, believes Israel has been unfairly targeted on campus, and he felt unsafe as a Jewish student after a swastika was found scrawled on a mural that Duke students had painted to honor the victims of last year’s massacre at a synagogue in Pittsburgh.    (emphasis added)

But Mr. Kaplan said he felt little comfort in President Trump’s executive order last week targeting anti-Semitism on college campuses.

NO NY Slimes – you’re putting words in Spencer’s mouth. He DIDN’T say that he felt “a little comfort.”  He stated that it could backfire on the Jews.  Oh – so the protection availed to Blacks, Muslims etc – that could backfire too??  

“I just fear it’s going to backfire for Jews,” said Mr. Kaplan, 20. “It reframes the debate from ‘is this anti-Semitic’ to ‘is this suppression of free speech.’”

ATTENTION:  The NY SLIMES is stating that people should be allowed to say what they feel under the protection of our First Amendment – Even if it’s about gays, Muslims,Palestinians, Blacks etc etc.  But we know that is NOT TRUE -don’t we brethren?  What they’re REALLY saying is “It’s okay to speak against Jews but not against other religions or LGBTQ groups – or about Palestinians.

While battles over limits on free speech and debates over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have long played out on American college campuses, students across the political spectrum said they worried about how Mr. Trump’s order would affect their daily lives, both in and out of the classroom.

First of all, it’s PRESIDENT TRUMP – not Mr. Trump. Secondly – your publication is such a Leftist rag, I’m surprised that you have not folded. But I’ve read that your fake news site is in troubled waters.

Mr. Trump’s order, which extends civil rights protections to Jews, is likely to bolster the Education Department’s investigations of accusations of anti-Jewish bias at several elite universities. The order last week came amid a rise in anti-Semitic attacks, and was issued the day after a deadly shooting at a kosher supermarket in New Jersey, which the authorities are investigating as an act of domestic terrorism.

Well GOOD!!! I’m GLAD that the Executive Order will bolster investigations into Jew hatred on campuses, especially since the anti Semitism is becoming more and more violent!!

And it came as racial and religious violence on college campuses is growing. According to a survey last year by the Anti-Defamation League, anti-Semitic incidents on college campuses rose to 204 in 2017 from 108 the prior year, an 89 percent increase.

Well DUHHHH……… This makes it crystal clear that PRESIDENT TRUMP’S Executive order came at the perfect time for Jewish students.

While many prominent Jewish and conservative groups, as well as members of the Israeli government, celebrated the executive order, college students were more nuanced in their responses.

Well, of course the college students are more “nuanced.”  They have been trained well by the Leftwing professors who do not hide their disdain of Israel.

Meagan Withers, a Jewish student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, said she was initially supportive of Mr. Trump’s announcement. “Why wouldn’t you want Jewish students to feel safe?” she said, mentioning an incident last spring when anti-Semitic fliers were found in the university library.

But she worries the order oversimplifies the issue. Ms. Withers, who is active in the Jewish college outreach organization Hillel, said she developed a deeper understanding of her Jewish identity during a trip to Israel organized by Birthright Israel, which is partly funded by the Israeli government. She said Israelis and Palestinians presented both sides of the conflict, a balance that she added could be threatened by the executive order. source

The daughter of Israel Consul General in New York Dani Dayan, who is studying at Columbia University says, that she is is worried for her personal safety after being harassed and threatened by the group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), and that the school is failing to protect her.

Ofir Dayan, 24, who served as an officer in the IDF and had been stationed in the past in Gaza and Lebanon, described in an interview with the New York Post the SJP as being violent.

Majoring in Political Science as an undergraduate, Dayan said that she first discovered the hostile sentiments harbored for Israelis when she was having a conversation in Hebrew on the phone while in the lobby of the Middle East Institute.

Dayan recalled a similar incident in October 2017 when she was leaving an on-campus event for Israeli beauty queen Titi Aynaw with four members of the Students Supporting Israel (SSI)

“The ­moment (members of SJP) saw us, they started screaming their slogans with a microphone to intimidate us. There were at least 50 SJP members blocking the walkway,” she said.

“They were really angry and it was scary. I believed it would escalate to physical violence.”

According to Dayan, the university did nothing to tackle the intimidation and discipline those responsible, despite her filing a complaint about the incident to the Student Governing Board (SGB) in January this year in a letter that ­described, in part, “horrified and terrified Jewish students huddled together while surrounded by a raging mob . . . (exhibiting) physically threatening behavior.”

Footage that she recorded of protesters being “hostile” also failed to move the SGB. After her father gave a speech on campus in February this year, the situation intensified as SJP activists set up checkpoints to intimidate people wishing to attend.

After Dayan revealed that the speaker was her father, she was subjected to vitriol and slurs and branded a “terrorists.”

Dayan’s pro-Israel group was told by the SGB that her complaint should be submitted to the newly formed adjudication board, a group managed by students who are supposed to mediate between parties in a dispute.

However, when the adjudication board got round to dealing with the complaint a month later, Dayan was informed that it could not be taken further because the incident in question occurred the previous semester. The board also told her that it was too complicated for them. The university administrator, who is an adviser to the board then dismissed the complaint in March, prompting the SSI to try and appeal it.

“They were blowing us off,” she said, angered further by the administrator telling her that the university could do nothing unless there was proof of anti-Semitism.

“I thought the university would protect me, but they didn’t do anything when (protesters) called me a terrorist,” Ofir said. “The school stands by as I’m harassed.”

While Professor Suzanne Goldberg, executive vice president for university life, said in a statement that “The safety and well-being of all of our students is fundamentally important” and that “we will always work with students who have concerns about their physical safety, allow debate on contentious questions where our students hold strong views, and provide essential personal and group support,” Dayan said that the lines is always blurred between criticism of Israel and anti-Semitism.

“There’s no difference between being anti-Israel and anti- Semitic (at Columbia),” she said, noting that she support freedom to protest.

SJP insisted in a statement that it “firmly stands against discrimination in all forms, including anti-Semitism” but failed to address Dayan’s complaints.

In a meeting last week between Dayan’s group and Professor Goldberg, the student requested protection from SJP and urged that disciplinary action be handed out against the SJP. However, Dayan said that her request was refused.

“(She) said that unless SJP gets ­violent, they can’t do anything,” said Dayan. “We have to wait until we’re beaten to call you? (The school) can protect me, but they choose not to.” source

So, there you go brethren.  The lies and and totally cavalier attitude of the NY Slimes to the plight of Jewish students on American college campuses being harassed speaks LOUDLY.   THEY JUST DON’T CARE.

But compare that to the account of the Israel student, Ofir Dyan, who is afraid to be on campus because she is ignored even in the midst of harassment by Jew haters. The authorities on campus turn a blind eye to Ofir’s concerns.

These so-called authorities are waiting for blood shed and then they will intervene.  Unbelievable.

Please pray for the Jewish students on our college campuses.  They all need our prayers desperately.
