HOMESICK: Let Not Your Hearts Be Troubled

Instead of writing on the evils of this wicked world, I felt the Lord prompting me to share this treasure with my readers.  My husband found this and asked me to watch and listen with him.  I’m so glad he did and I think that you will be encouraged and blessed by it.

Lyrics:

Vs 1

A night away from mom and dad

Can it really, really be that bad?

I’m afraid and feel so all alone

Sleeping far away from home

Say a prayer and then I’ll close my eyes

I hope everything will be all right

When the night is come and gone

Mom and dad will take me home

I’m just a little homesick

Chorus

I’m just a little homesick

That’s what this funny feeling is

I’m thinking ’bout a place called home

That’s where I really want to go

I’m ready now to go back home

Mom and dad will come it won’t be long

A place where I belong

that’s why I call it home

I’m just a little homesick

V.2

I’m older now it’s plain to see

This world means so much less to me

There’s not a lot to make me want to stay

I’m making plans to move someday

My Savior’s who I want to see

And my family’s there to welcome me

Just a few more miles to go until I make it home

I’m just a little homesick

Brethren, these times we are in were prophesied in Scripture. We should not be surprised or overwhelmed by what is happening.

God is in control and He has His eye on each of His children.  When the evil one whispers lies into your ear, just tell him that we know the story and how it ends!

Sometimes I just say the name of Jesus over and over, and His peace comes over me.

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14: 1-3).

How Can I Be Saved?

Shalom b’Yeshua

MARANATHA!!
