“Your Quarrel is With My Creator” Says Openly Gay Mayor of South Bend, IN to VP Mike Pence

Brethren, I can almost hear a faint “Hisssssssssssssss” in the background.

Can you?

What the openly gay mayor was actually saying to VP Mike Pence was this:

Did God really say that homosexuality is sinful? Well certainly he may have said that in the Old Testament; but when Jesus came he made it clear that Grace covered ALL sin, and now everyone is a child of God no matter what their lifestyle.

Absolutely DIABOLICAL.

The Enemy of Our Souls is in Our Midst

The Social Justice False Gospel has done more to harm Evangelical Christianity than anything else.  I have written about Rachel Held Evans whose faithful followers number in the millions.  On the surface Rachel sounds good. She has a pleasant personality. She has charisma.

What is she lacking?  The TRUTH of the Word of God. We know that God is Love. But He is also Just, Holy and Righteous. Ms. Evans and the rest of the Social Justice Gospel followers only see God as Love. They believe and teach that God welcomes the vilest sinner into the church and does NOT expect them to leave behind the sins which separated them from Him in the first place.

My article on Rachel Held Evans   <click to read about Ms. Evans

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved”   (John 3:16-17).

When Jesus dealt with sinners, When He saw their faith, he would tell them that their sins were forgiven and that they should “Go and sin no more.”

In other words, the Social Justice Gospel deceives their followers by telling them that they can be comfortable in their lifestyles – they can practice homosexuality, have abortions at will – they can even be atheist because God understands.

Remember when Pope Francis said this:

“God is not afraid of new things.”  Let me not get off track with the Pope!

Let’s look at what God’s Word really says about continuing in sin after confessing Him as Savior:

From gotquestions.org

Question: What does it mean that believers do not continue to sin (1 John 3:6, 5:18)?

Answer: In his first epistle, the apostle John deals with the assurance of our salvation: “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13). Since he wants his readers to “know” they have eternal life, John provides a test of faith that we can use to examine whether or not we are truly saved.

In 1 John are various descriptions of the genuine believer. If a person knows Christ and is growing in grace, he or she will be generally marked by the following traits:

1. The believer enjoys fellowship with Christ and His redeemed people (1 John 1:3).
2. The believer walks in the light, not in the darkness (1 John 1:6–7).
3. The believer admits and confesses his sin (1 John 1:8).
4. The believer obeys God’s Word (1 John 2:3–5).
5. The believer loves God rather than the world (1 John 2:15).
6. The believer’s life is characterized by “doing what is right” (1 John 2:29).
7. The believer seeks to maintain a pure life (1 John 3:3).
8. The believer sees a decreasing pattern of sin in his life (1 John 3:5–6; 5:18).
9. The believer demonstrates love for other Christians (1 John 3:14).
10. The believer “walks the walk,” versus just “talking the talk” (1 John 3:18–19).
11. The believer maintains a clear conscience (1 John 3:21).
12. The believer experiences victory in his Christian walk (1 John 5:4)

Number 8 in the list above is that the believer will evince a decreasing pattern of sin in his or her life. Here is what John says:

“No one who lives in [Christ] keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him” (1 John 3:6)

and

“We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them” (1 John 5:18)

Some misinterpret these verses to mean that Christians can attain sinless perfection. After all, John says that “no one who lives in Him sins” (1 John 3:6, NASB) and that “no one who is born of God sins” (5:18, NASB). Based on those verses, they reason, sin must be a thing of the past. If you commit a sin, that’s proof that you are not saved, because Christians are sinless. But that is not what John is teaching.  (emphasis added)

We know that, when John writes that believers do not continue to sin, he is not referring to sinless perfection because of what he writes elsewhere in the same epistle. To believers John says, “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8). So, we are all sinners, and we continue to struggle with sin even after we are saved. We will never know a total absence of sin until we are with the Lord in glory: “When Christ appears, we shall be like him” (1 John 3:2).   (emphasis added)

If John is not referring to sinless perfection, what does he mean that believers do not continue to sin? Very simply, he means that believers will not continue practicing sin as a way of life. There will be a difference between the old life without Christ and the new life in Christ. The thief who was characterized by his theft is a thief no more; he has a different way of life. The adulterer who was characterized by his immorality is an adulterer no more; his behavior patterns have changed. The child of God who was a former thief may still struggle with covetousness, but he no longer lives according to the pattern of stealing. The child of God who was a former adulterer may still struggle with lust, but he has broken free from the old life of immorality. “All who have this hope in [Christ] purify themselves, just as he is pure” (1 John 3:3).   (emphasis added)

The Amplified Bible brings out John’s meaning clearly:

“No one who abides in Him [who remains united in fellowship with Him—deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin. No one who habitually sins has seen Him or known Him” (1 John 3:6, AMP)

and

“We know [with confidence] that anyone born of God does not habitually sin; but He (Jesus) who was born of God [carefully] keeps and protects him, and the evil one does not touch him” (1 John 5:18, AMP) source

So, what happens to people involved with the False Social Justice Gospel? They feel emboldened to Sin.  They says things just like what the mayor of South Bend, IN said to VP Pence:

“Your quarrel is with my Creator.”  And the sad part, brethren, is that he really believes this is Truth.  Because he is involved with an apostate group, he is convinced that their teachings are right and true.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;  and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables”  (2 Timothy 4:3-4)

How the World Views the Social Justice Gospel

Here is the most dangerous part.  This false Social Justice gospel will be used in the coming years to persecute and even jail true Evangelical believers.

People like Rachel Held Evans and Mayor Pete Buttigieg, and millions of other deceived people who are masquerading as Christians, will join in the persecution of true followers of Jesus Christ. They will and are calling us “haters” and we will  be targeted as the Problem which needs to be dealt with.

I can see this coming as clear as day.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg will be in the Presidential Race in 2020

The politically correct crowd want everyone to know that they support the gay movement, and to prove that of course they will vote for gays and Muslims who are running in elections.  These voters don’t wish to know anything about the platforms of those running. Just the fact that they are gay or Muslim is enough for them.

And you can be sure that all of their friends will know about how they voted!

And here is the other side of that coin:  The more homosexuals and transexuals and Muslims who get into powerful political positions, the more we will see Evangelicals marginalized and persecuted.

I’m telling you the ruth. This is what is happening in America and it is frightening and so very sad.

Our Founding Fathers would weep if they could see what his happening in America right now.

Benjamin Franklin

I realize that I have used part of Franklin’s speech to the Constitutional Convention in a few of my articles of late.   Funny thing is this:  Franklin was not even a Christian, but had much discernment and knowledge about the heart of men and women.  Here is part of his speech that I feel is so timely and true:

“In these sentiments, Sir, I agree to this Constitution with all its faults, if they are such; because I think a general Government necessary for us, and there is no form of Government but what may be a blessing to the people if well administered, and believe farther that this is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in Despotism, as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic Government, being incapable of any other. I doubt too whether any other Convention we can obtain, may be able to make a better Constitution. For when you assemble a number of men to have the advantage of their joint wisdom, you inevitably assemble with those men, all their prejudices, their passions, their errors of opinion, their local interests, and their selfish views. From such an assembly can a perfect production be expected?

It therefore astonishes me, Sir, to find this system approaching so near to perfection as it does; and I think it will astonish our enemies, who are waiting with confidence to hear that our councils are confounded like those of the Builders of Babel; and that our States are on the point of separation, only to meet hereafter for the purpose of cutting one another’s throats.

Thus I consent, Sir, to this Constitution because I expect no better, and because I am not sure, that it is not the best. The opinions I have had of its errors, I sacrifice to the public good. I have never whispered a syllable of them abroad. Within these walls they were born, and here they shall die. If every one of us in returning to our Constituents were to report the objections he has had to it, and endeavor to gain partizans in support of them, we might prevent its being generally received, and thereby lose all the salutary effects & great advantages resulting naturally in our favor among foreign Nations as well as among ourselves, from our real or apparent unanimity. Much of the strength & efficiency of any Government in procuring and securing happiness to the people, depends, on opinion, on the general opinion of the goodness of the Government, as well as well as of the wisdom and integrity of its Governors. I hope therefore that for our own sakes as a part of the people, and for the sake of posterity, we shall act heartily and unanimously in recommending this Constitution (if approved by Congress & confirmed by the Conventions) wherever our influence may extend, and turn our future thoughts & endeavors to the means of having it well administred.

On the whole, Sir, I can not help expressing a wish that every member of the Convention who may still have objections to it, would with me, on this occasion doubt a little of his own infallibility, and to make manifest our unanimity, put his name to this instrument.- source        (bolding emphasis added by me)

The “Despotic government” of which Franklin spoke is sadly on our doorstep. It will come either in the form of Socialism/Communism or even possibly Sharia Law cutting down our foundational Constitution.  That, brethren, will be the end of America as we have known her.

America, the shining light on the hill, is being ripped apart by Christian hating men and women who dare to call themselves part of the body of Christ.

And furthermore, these apostates will continue to lie to the world – telling them that we (true Evangelicals) are not part of the church. They are pointing their fingers at us and calling us public enemy number one.

God help us.  God help America.  God’s Will be done.

How Can I Be Saved?
