People Need the Lord

I remember when I used to sing this song back in the 80’s.  I also remember the first time I heard it.  It affected me profoundly.

Every day they pass me by
I can see it in their eyes
Empty people filled with care
Headed who knows where?

On they go through private pain
Living fear to fear

Have you ever really looked at the faces of people as you pass them by?  Every one of those people has a story. Granted – some have lived relatively uneventful lives, void of dark memories leaving deep scars.  But I would venture to say that most people have hurtful and painful memories.

My childhood

I was born into a Jewish family. There were four children. I was the youngest of three girls.  My earliest memories I pushed so far down inside of me. If they began to surface, I pushed them down harder and harder.

But as I grew older, I realized that not dealing with the pain was destroying me.  I hated myself. I never felt I belonged in my family.  My mom was exquisitely beautiful, as were my two older sisters. I was not.  I was stick thin with buck teeth and frizzy hair; and I was teased mercilessly – not just by my sisters, but also by my dad.

When my dad would make fun of me, I would laugh with him. I wanted him to love me, and I thought that laughing along with him at my ugliness would make him love me more.

Illness as a young child

Are any of your children picky eaters?  Well, I certainly was. But I was also a very sickly child. I remember my mother taking me to the hospital and having blood drawn very often.

The dinner table became a battleground.  I can still hear my dad “If you don’t eat that spaghetti, you will wear it!”   I would wind up with my face pushed into the spaghetti.  My sisters laughed.

My sisters had me believing that I was adopted.  They told me that I only needed to look in the mirror to see that I looked like not one of them.

Fast forward to today

After asking for prayer from FB Christian friends, I was reunited with my older sister Sandy.  We had such a wonderful year. I went to her home and she spent Christmas with us.  Her husband has Alzheimer’s and is in a home.

But to make a very long story short – it was not long before I realized that she was saying the most awful things to her friends and my other sister about me.  I thought that she loved me. Oh well, I was used to rejection by this time. But I do miss her very badly.

My father

My father was failing from his diabetes after a surgery. He was getting dementia. My mother had been so upset with him for watching Billy Graham Crusades whenever they were on before he got so sick.

My mother would call me from the hospital and say that dad was calling for me. He didn’t want to see the other kids – only me.  I had witnessed to my dad about Yeshua many times.  My sister became very angry and jealous that dad only wanted to see me.

On the last night of his life (he was in hospice care) I went to see him after work.  There was no one else there. My sister had made the decision that water and food would be withheld from him – only a morphine drip was allowed. The Lord allowed me the privilege of leading my dad to the Throne of Grace that night.  After I returned home, I received a call that dad had passed on. I knew that he was in heaven with Jesus.

Life is hard

When I was saved in 1983, one of the first things that the Lord dealt with was “forgiveness.”  I knew that all of those hurts and painful memories that I had pushed down for so many years – I knew that God wanted me to forgive it all. He wanted me to forgive each person in the family.  I began praying for them and it was like a heavy burden had been lifted off of me.  I saw them as very lost and God put a love for each of them in my heart.

Every so often, I will remember something and the pain will begin to resurface.  I have to stop and pray for that family member for the bitterness to dissipate. Forgiveness truly is an ongoing process.

Everyone Needs the Lord

My memories seem like nothing compared to others with whom I have spoken. Sexual molestation as children is so prevalent.  I was shocked by this. But there are many types of abuse.

There is only One who can deal with our pain – our rejection – all of the things that have happened to us. Yes, there is only One and His name is Jesus. When we come to Him broken and feeling like our lives were nothing but a mistake – He speaks to us through His Word.  HIS love is TRUE love.   I know that He loves me unconditionally and I want the whole world to know this joy!

Aren’t we seeing this all around us?  Even the laughter we hear is often just hiding a heart filled with hopelessness and pain.

Lord please help us to really see those around us and please open doors for us to share with them the greatest gift ever given – the gift of Salvation – the gift of being reconciled to our Father in Heaven through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Thank You that He  paid our sin debt that we could NEVER pay.

UPDATE ON TOMMY ROBINSON: The Most Senior Criminal Judge In U.K. Will Hear His Appeal

FINALLY some good news about Tommy Robinson.

If you are unfamiliar with the story of this courageous man in the U.K., I’ll try to get you up to speed.

Tommy was sentenced to 13 months in jail – no due process of law – simply placed in a prison.  For what, you ask?  For speaking truth about Muslim gangs in London who were grooming young British girls for rape.  Yes, RAPE.

He was jailed for speaking out against this EVIL.

Then Tommy was transferred to another prison; a much more dangerous one.  The new prison houses up to 71% Muslim criminals, many of them terrorists. We have been praying for Tommy’s safety in this prison.

The Good News

And Tommy and his family certainly needed GOOD news!

The Right Honourable Lord Justice Leveson, the most senior criminal judge in the United Kingdom, will hear Tommy Robinson’s appeal.

Justice Leveson is the president of the Queen’s Bench Division and the Head of Criminal Justice.

In addition to being the UK’s most senior criminal judge, Justice Leveson is known for chairing the inquiry into the UK phone hacking scandal. He is familiar with the media, which is relevant to Tommy’s case.

He will hear the appeal that was filed by Tommy’s new lawyers last week.

The hearing will be held at the Royal Courts of Justice, in London, on July 10th at 10 a.m.

We have a top UK legal team working on the appeal, and we have the top judge in the UK hearing the appeal.

Now all we need is you. 

Tommy is not independently wealthy. He and his family have asked me to crowdfund the massive legal bills this appeal.

  • *100% of the proceeds will go to Tommy’s legal bills.
  • *If, after all the bills are paid, there is a surplus, 100% of any surplus will go to Tommy’s family.

We anticipate this will be tens of thousands of pounds. But that’s fine — this is the most important legal case in the United Kingdom. I truly believe Tommy Robinson is a kind of political prisoner, and this case touches on freedom of the press, and the increasing police restrictions on ordinary Brits talking about public issues, like Muslim rape gangs and mass immigration.

If we raise more than is required to pay the legal fees, we will give 100% of the surplus to Tommy’s family.

In my view, this family fund is very important.

* If Tommy is released, it can be used as a future legal defence fund for him.

* If Tommy is not released, his family can use it to pay their bills while Tommy is in prison.

* And — God forbid, I hate to even mention it, but it is a possibility — if something happens to Tommy while he’s in prison, or on another occasion, these funds can assure that Tommy’s family is taken care of in the future.

Tommy’s family will have complete access to the financial accounts. All surplus funds will be transferred to Tommy’s wife and she will have complete discretion over them.

Today is the day we fight back, in a manner that Tommy and his family have approved.

There are other things we can all do — and I salute everyone else who has been doing important things, like rallying, both in the UK and around the world, and even just speaking in social media.

The Left’s Call For Mob Violence Will Lead to Another “Scalise” Tragedy

Someone is going to get killed.

Isaiah 5:20 says it all:

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

In the past few years, I have written many articles about George Soros and his manipulation of whole societies.  How does he do this?  Money, and willing Leftwing activists.  You’ll never see this on the mainstream news. You will not even see it on Fox News, which I believe has now joined the ranks of their Liberal media counterparts.

Have we so soon forgotten about the mobs outside of Trump’s campaign events? Do you remember how they blocked traffic and incited violence against Trump supporters?  Do you actually think that those people just gathered spontaneously?

When we see large groups of people carrying well made signs and who are projecting rage from their faces and body language – we can be sure that George Soros has funded the protest, and that one of his many Leftist/Marxist NGO’s has provided the recruitment and planning.

The Media

There are those in my extended family who are Angry Liberals.  They live on a steady diet of CNN and other Puppet news agencies, who all day long spew venom at Trump and all people associated with him.  I’ve never seen anything like this in my life.

The so-called scandals the Faux News agencies rant on about, day after day – can make one want to Scream (and I have)! What has come out of the accusations about Trump and Russia,  NOTHING.  And yet it goes on and on.  If anything, this investigation is backfiring on the Libs. They throw the fake news against the wall and they figure that something has to stick eventually!

I asked one of my relatives who is addicted to CNN and spouts off about President Trump being a “Fascist”  to give me one example of something our president has done which would label him as a fascist.  She began to stutter as she was desperately trying to give me ONE example. She finally gave up and angrily said “Well, he is Crazy!!”   I just shook my head.

Mob Mentality and Violence

A year ago, a deranged liberal shot Steve Scalise  and 4 other Republicans during a  baseball practice game.  House Whip, Steve Scalise almost died from his injuries. Of course, the MSM had to act a bit shocked, but I would have loved it if a mic had remained hot when the commentators thought is was off – I think that we would have heard some ignorant statements about that shooting.

Maxine Waters

This so-called “leader” in the Democratic Party has recently called for more harassment of Conservatives – Trump and his administration.  Her call for continued public punishment of the Republicans was so out of touch with core values of this country, that even Democrat Chuck Schumer had this to say:

One wonders if it had been Peter Fonda instead of Sarah Huckabee Sanders who chose to dine at the Red Hen in Lexington, Virginia. Would restaurant co-owner Stephanie Wilkinson have asked the C-list actor, who suggested that President Trump’s son deserved an unspeakable fate while suggesting Trump supporters be hunted down and harassed, or worse, to leave because “the restaurant has certain standards”?

Never forget that Fonda sent out a call for mob violence, a call for a child (the 11-year-old son of President Trump) to be kidnapped from his mother and thrown in a cage with pedophiles. Peter Fonda sought to orchestrate mob action that would result in the gang-rape of an innocent child… (emphasis added)

“WE SHOULD RIP BARRON TRUMP FROM HIS MOTHER’S ARMS AND PUT HIM IN A CAGE WITH PEDOPHILES,” Fonda’s Tuesday night tweet read.

But Fonda wasn’t done. He also called on his mob to terrorize the children of ICE agents.

“[W]e only need to surround their schools and scare the sh*t out of them and worry the f*ck out of the agents frm CBE ICE & REGULAR BORDER PATROL AGENTS. WE NEED TO SCARE THE F*CK OUT OF THEM! NEED TO MAKE THEIR CHILDREN WORRY NOW,” Fonda demanded.

Then Fonda turned his hate towards two women, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, who he attacked with the sexist slur “gash,” and Kirstjen Nielsen, the Department of Homeland Security, who he wanted to see stripped naked and publicly whipped.” –source

REALLY?

Almost 100% of Mass Shooters have been Liberals

And I did not pull that out of my hat. I have done extensive research on the political affiliations of mass shooters.  This makes the incitement of mobs to attack Conservatives even more concerning and appalling.

But it makes perfect sense to me. There is no other way to put this:  I believe that many Liberals have severe mental defects. They are loose cannons.  They are filled with hatred.  And they have targeted this hatred toward President Trump, his cabinet and all Trump supporters.

Brethren, if something is not done about the threats toward the Trump administration and his supporters, I’m afraid that we are going to see violence – GUN violence – from the same people who have so desperately tried to have law abiding U.S. citizens have their guns grabbed from them!

Pray for President Trump and his family. Pray for his cabinet and heads of agencies.  Pray for God to protect the people who are being threatened.

And of course, Pray for those who are doing the threatening – pray for their salvation.

The Power of Music: JESUS CULTURE Knows That Power and Uses It For Evil

I remember the first time I listened to music from Jesus Culture. I had no idea who these people were.  I did know that the feeling which overcame me was not uplifting and I felt sure that God was not being glorified.

In a word – it was creepy.

Anointed music has the opposite effect on those who love the Lord Jesus Christ. We know when we hear pleasing music to our God.

Here is a song that I think is so Anointed. Whenever I hear it, I feel so close to the Lord.  And I believe that He receives this as true worship:

A Closer Look at a Modern Day Trojan Horse:  Jesus Culture

“For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.” -2 Corinthians 11:13-15

I wrote yesterday on the New Apostolic Reformation and its explosive growth over the past twenty or so years. Today I want to take a closer look at one of the main reasons why their movement has become so influential. The NAR’s success and rapid expansion can be largely attributed to a group by the name of Jesus Culture. Jesus Culture is a Christian revivalist outreach ministry initially formed out of the youth group at Bethel Church in Redding, Ca. in 1999. The group was formed under the direct leadership of a man by the name of Banning Liebscher, and was led by the band’s front woman Kim Walker-Smith who is still with the band today.

Since their debut in 1999, the band has moved to Sacramento to plant a church, become one of the most well known and most listened to Christian artists in the world, they sell out concerts quickly at venues with tens of thousands of seats, they have a massive social media following, the videos that they produce go viral, and they are believed to have somewhere in the ballpark of 25 different projects on their record label. The point being is that Jesus Culture is not just a small non-influential band peddling a few gospel CD’s. This group has dominated the music industry, competing on billboard charts with artists as big as Taylor Swift. This is important to note because this group is not only in the game just for the love of music, or a sincere desire to worship, but also to promote a theological standpoint.

The band exists to share their message and to spread worship, by their own definition. An exert from their own website describes their mission as this:

“Jesus Culture is a global movement, awakening hearts to worship and demonstrate the love and power of God wherever we go. We are passionate to see campuses, cities and nations transformed and we have a mandate: to raise, equip, and mobilize those who were coming to fulfill the call of God on their lives. We do this through the ministry of conferences, events, worship, campus ministries, curriculum’s, resources and now a local church. Jesus Culture is continuing to grow in bringing young people into encounters with Jesus and equipping them to minister His heart to a broken world.”

I have had people tell me before that its not a big deal to use their music in church, there is nothing wrong with some of their songs, as long as my heart is sincere it doesn’t matter if the lyrics are completely accurate or not. For one, that is a shallow view of God, and a superficial understanding of what worship truly is. Secondly, the issue isn’t only whether some of the songs are passable in church without raising eyebrows. The issue is what are you bringing before a holy God in worship first and foremost, and also what kind of teaching are you exposing your congregation to?

Jesus Culture is very much intent on teaching their theology though the music they produce as well as through the preaching they do at concerts and events. So what message are they spreading exactly? This is a clip of Kim Walker-Smith, the band’s front woman, preaching about her alleged face to face encounter with God at a Jesus Culture concert in 2011.

“No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known.”  -John 1:18

Let me put it bluntly, she’s lying. If she had truly seen God she would be dead. Her complete lack of reverence for God is abundantly clear throughout the entirety of her rambling. We wonder why the youth in this nation, and honestly many of the adults who should be able to discern and evaluate what is being taught, have an overwhelming attitude of complacency when it comes to having respect, a deep reverence, and a strong devotion to our God and Father and His written word of truth. According to Kim Walker-Smith, God revolves around us and how we feel. We have an issue in much of the Church today because we are allowing ourselves and our congregations be indoctrinated with this filth and we are doing nothing to confront it. We actually encourage it by bringing this into our churches. Much of the professing Church is going right along with this and saying bless God I am a Christian because I am just like everyone else in our culture who call themselves Christians. Carnal, emotions driven, and unconcerned with Biblical truth.

To keep things in perspective as to just how off the rails Jesus Culture is, this is a poster for an upcoming conference in September. Jesus Culture will be sharing the stage with Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Lou Engle, and Todd White to name a few. These are some of the most blatantly heretical false teachers alive right now.

In response to a question during a Q & A panel of whether or not a parent should be concerned with their child listening to Jesus Culture, John MacArthur gave this response:

“Absolutely you should be concerned. It’s the old clock that doesn’t run is right twice a day. If they never do anything that is acceptable then you aren’t going to buy into what isn’t. That has nothing to do with Christianity [Their music in concert], that has nothing to do with God. In fact I’d be afraid to put my mind in neutral and start yelling out loud with that kind of sensual music fill me up, fill me up, fill me up, [referencing a specific song played in concert by Jesus Culture] among a group of non believers who would go from normal non believers living in the kingdom of darkness to being demon possessed. I think your inviting a spirit for sure, but it isn’t the Spirit of God.

It has nothing to do with Christianity, again, this is paganism. This is the Kundalini cult that you can look on YouTube and see. This is paganism, this is what the Hindu’s do. The mindlessness of it. I think if you accept any of it, if you say well there is some good in it, you literally have left your young people open to I think, demon powers. I would run from this so fast.”… “I would even say that evangelical non-charismatic churches are using music that is unacceptable to draw people in.

They are using the music of the world to suck people in as if somehow people would get saved because the music of the world is attracting them. There is a big jump between being attracted to the music of the world and being regenerated by the Holy Spirit and the two have no connection. So this is so close to what is in a normal evangelical environment, this is so close to what people see in non-charismatic quote on quote evangelical churches, that it is a very small step to getting sucked in because the style is the same. But the theology present in it is un-biblical.”

Jesus Culture is good at what they do which is why they are able to come into the Church unnoticed and unchecked bringing songs with New Apostolic Theology woven into them. No one bothers to stay alert and be on guard against false doctrine, we have been wooed into a state of complacency and have a lack of concern for evaluating what we hear against what Scripture teaches. The American Church as a whole has become so worldly that we no longer stand out in contrast to our culture. We have completely disregarded Scripture’s command in 1 John 2:15 not love the world or the things in the world, and we have placed emotional experience, entertainment, and social prestige on a higher level than the theological accuracy of worship. – source

When we had a sound church to attend, I sang with the choir and also did many solos.  I loved to sing the music of Twila Paris. I always felt that her songs were uplifting to the body of Christ, and were so worshipful.  I felt that God received those songs as a fragrant aroma – much as He receives the prayers of the saints.

What music are you listening to?  Do you find yourself caught up in music that is secular, because it brings back memories?  I am not condemning all music that is not about our Lord.  I am just telling the reader that it can become a slippery slope – you will be drawn to listen to the secular music more than music to our Lord Jesus.

This is probably why I have always loved the old Hymns.  Most of them are so grounded in the Word of God. And most of them could be used to write a sermon; have you ever noticed that?

Brethren, be careful which music you listen to.  It IS important.

Jesus Culture just takes the NAR churches false doctrines and sets them to music. Also, the repetitious Jesus Culture songs reminds me of the chants of Hinduism – over and over and over again.

Did you know that Lucifer was the leader of the choir of heaven?  He had instruments built into him.  Is it any wonder that music has such a dramatic effect on us?
