We know that we are in the end of the end days. But take heart, brethren. As I’ve heard many Bible Prophecy teachers and watchers say:
Things are not falling apart – they are falling into place.
If the Democrats do well in the midterms (they’ve had a lot of time to rig the ballot boxes and add deceased people to voting registrars) and if (God forbid it) they get back into the White House, then what we are seeing happening in Trudeau’s Canada – will undoubtedly happen here.
I read recently that there are at least 3.5 million more names registered to vote than there are people over the age of 18. The National Review calls these people GHOST VOTERS –source
The Supreme Court in Canada has ruled that a Canadian evangelical Christian university can be denied accreditation for its law school simply because it supports traditional marriage, CBC reports.
In two separate 7-2 rulings, the Supreme Court found that the law societies of British Columbia and Ontario can indeed deny accreditation to Trinity Western University because of the university’s community covenant that included a code of conduct that champions abstinence and heterosexual marriage. The court claimed that the covenant creates a barrier that prohibits LGBT students from attending the school.
The school’s mandatory covenant agreement upholds the values and beliefs of the Christian faith, which one would expect from an evangelical Christian school. It reads:
In keeping with biblical and TWU ideals, community members voluntarily abstain from the following actions: communication that is destructive to TWU community life and inter–personal relationships, including gossip, slander, vulgar/obscene language, and prejudice; harassment or any form of verbal or physical intimidation, including hazing; lying, cheating, or other forms of dishonesty including plagiarism; stealing, misusing or destroying property belonging to others; sexual intimacy that violates the sacredness of marriage between a man and a woman; the use of materials that are degrading, dehumanizing, exploitive, hateful, or gratuitously violent, including, but not limited to pornography; drunkenness, under-age consumption of alcohol, the use or possession of illegal drugs, and the misuse or abuse of substances including prescribed drugs; the use or possession of alcohol on campus, or at any TWU sponsored event, and the use of tobacco on campus or at any TWU sponsored event.
But the Supreme Court found that the law societies were acting well within their powers to decide against accrediting Trinity Western University’s law school and that the public interest of the legal profession has given them the right to promote equality and equal access within the bar to prevent alleged harm to LGBT students, despite the fact that doing so violates religious freedoms.
Law Society of B.C. President Miriam Kresivo agrees with the court’s determination that law societies have a responsibility to “uphold the rights of all persons and to protect the public interest.”
“The court recognized that the Law Society has an overarching interest in protecting equality and human rights,” he claims, “as well as … removing inequitable barriers to the legal profession, in carrying out our duties and ensuing public confidence.”
But others view the decisions as dangerous infringements on religious freedoms.
Andrew Bennett, director of the religious freedom institute at the Christian-based think-tank Cardus, said the rulings could affect other so-called public-interest professions, including medicine, and could be broadened to include other religious schools.
He said the Supreme Court affirmed the notion of an “imagined conflict” between sexual and religious identities. “This is not a question of religious identity, it’s not a question of sexual identity. It’s a question of fundamental freedoms, and also about the freedom to live your faith publicly,” he said.
According to Gerald D. Chipeur, Q.C. of Miller Thomson LLP, the court’s rulings create “significant limitation[s] on the rights of all Canadians to freedom of religion.”
Furthermore, he opined that the rulings have created a system in which “anyone who is making decisions regarding the rights of others” can now “violate the religious freedoms of Canadians.”
Cheryl Milne, executive director of the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights at the University of Toronto, also expressed concerns that the court’s rulings have created a precedent in which quasi-judicial bodies can now make controversial decisions.
“Everything from residential tenancies are impacted,” she said. “People’s lives can be significantly impacted by the decisions made by administrators, whether that’s tribunals that have hearings, or individuals that are reviewing applications for things, or ruling on complaints.”
There are plenty of other law schools that LGBT students could attend that do not subscribe to religious philosophies that may frown upon their lifestyles, but rather than show tolerance to all viewpoints, including those of Christians, the state once again sees it fit to control private institutions and punish them for failing to adhere to the state’s moral standards.
Critics of the court’s rulings note that it underscores Canada’s growing intolerance for diversity. Janet Epp Buckingham, a TWU professor who helped develop the law school proposal, observed, “We feel that this is a loss for diversity in Canada. Canada has traditionally upheld values of diversity for a broad array of religious views. So we’re very disappointed in the way the Supreme Court of Canada has ruled today.” – source
Justin Trudeau is the darling of the Marxist/Leftist Liberals. He is Canada’s Obama. His predecessor, Stephen Harper, was a firm Conservative and a true friend to Israel. I am quite certain that the grimy finger prints of George Soros would most assuredly be found if one peeled back the layers leading up to Trudeau’s election.
But let’s not go there. My stomach is churning enough as I write this piece.
Brethren, the enemy of our souls is bringing his minions against us from every front. But we must not fear or become discouraged!
We must continue to pray for those in authority and above all else, we must always remember that God is truly in control. Even when things look darkest – our God is never surprised. He is omniscient – all knowing – and that means that He knows every event which will unfold in the coming years.
He has us in His hand.
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).
As I am beginning to write this article, I must tell the reader that the Lord showed me how the heretical and satanic practices of Bethel Church and other churches who teach aberrant “doctrines of demons” breaks His heart. When He revealed that to me, my heart broke, and I have been weeping for over an hour.
Jan Markell of Olive Tree Ministries just finished a two part interview of the parents of Caitlin, who was seduced into this “cult.” These people literally lost their child to Bethel. Jan asked me if I would write on the interview and expose in depth the practices of Bethel and other NAR churches.
I pray that this article travels far and wide and that the Lord would direct it into the hands of many who are spiritual prisoners of satan because of Bethel and other NAR (New Apostolic Reformation) churches.
I encourage the reader to first listen to the two part interview from Jan’s radio program which I am including in this piece:
From Olivetreeviews.org
Jan Markell spends the hour with parents who lost their daughter Caitlin to Bethel Church, Redding, CA and the New Apostolic Reformation in part 1 of a 2-part program. Learn the tactics used, the efforts to rescue Caitlin, and how to prevent this happening to someone you love. What is the Kundalini spirit? Learn what happens when signs and wonders are taken too far. Dirk & Joan Miller are willing to respond to you by writing them at joel3.16b@outlook.com.”
We know that doctrines of demons come from the devil. But have you wondered what vehicle satan uses to seduce the children of God?
I have written extensively on Yoga and the Kundalini serpent (demonic spirit). In those writings, I have attempted to warn Christians of the dangers of Yoga, and that even without taking part in the “meditation” the Christian is still at high risk of demonic influence or even possession.
Each “pose” in Yoga is submission to a Hindu god. Yes, you read that right. What the Christian believes is just stretching their bodies, is in truth telling the gods of Hinduism that you welcome them. The most dangerous of these gods (demons) is the Kundalini serpent.
Here is my article which was posted recently on the Kundalini serpent:
Have you watched videos about “holy laughter” or have seen people writhing about on the floor? If you have seen these demonic manifestations, then you know that something has gone amuck in the NAR churches where these practices take place.
What you may not know is that “holy laughter” and other strange behavior in the church comes straight from Hinduism. Perhaps these people, including Bill Johnson (head pastor of Bethel), think that our God has gifted their people with these strange behaviors.
God has nopart in this.
But the god of this world has everything to do with it.
St. Raphael’s School was founded by Catholics, and is considered to be a Catholic school to this day. Can you see the fusing together of false religions? Catholicism is a cult. The god of every false religion is Satan. We know that the one True “Church” is the body of Christ and Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. No one comes to the Father in heaven except through Him.

Could you hear in the “chanting” the similarity to the Muslim call to prayer?

The reader should note that the Kundalini spirit in Hinduism is their version of the Holy Spirit Who lives in the true children of God.
Brethren, let us look closely at the teachings and doctrines of Bethel Church
Answer: Sozo ministry, or Sozo prayer (from the Greek word for “save” or “deliver”), is defined as “a unique inner healing and deliverance ministry in which the main aim is to get to the root of those things hindering your personal connection with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” Sozo has its roots in the Charismatic movement, being created by a group of people from the Bethel Church in Redding, California, and modeled after spiritual practices observed at revivals in Argentina. The group that originated Sozo is tied to such aberrant movements as the Toronto Blessing and the New Apostolic Reformation
.A Sozo session is designed to provide Holy Spirit-led wholeness and freedom for the Sozoee (the one seeking deliverance). Sozo requires the presence of a mediator or guide who is trained to walk Sozoees through a time of prayer and reflection that is supposed to facilitate intimacy with God. The facilitator guides the Sozoee through an ascent of the “Father Ladder,” in which the Sozoee is encouraged to “visualize” God and speak to the image of the Lord created in the mind’s eye. This is followed by identifying various “doors” that have allowed sin to enter one’s life, closing them, and “sealing” them by the blood of Jesus. Obstacles to the process are identified as “walls” that must be torn down. When a “door” is closed or a “wall” is demolished, the Sozoee is told to give a single clap of the hands, supposedly to help disengage the lie that had taken root in his or her mind. Past hurts are explored as various “rooms” of the mind are opened and searched—Sozo practitioners even claim to track down spiritual wounds acquired in the womb! Of course, none of this is found in Scripture.
According to the Bethel Sozo website, one of the goals of Sozo is to enable participants to “heal your relationship with God to enable you to fulfill your destiny.” Sozo aims for the complete healing of body, soul, and spirit. Sozoees will know their deliverance is complete when they are able to discern that the “strong man” has been defeated (based on Mark 3:27).
One of the emphases of Sozo is extending forgiveness to those who have wounded or in some way committed an offense against the Sozoee. Forgiveness is granted in order to bring about certain blessings:
– forgiveness relieves one of a burden he had carried
– forgiveness frees one from a “prison of torment”
– forgiveness closes a “door” that was allowing Satan access to one’s life
– forgiveness allows one to “step out of the way” and let God have a “direct line” to the offender
Intimacy with God is definitely something we should seek, and forgiveness of others is a biblical command; however, the methodology of Sozo is questionable at best. Attaining intimacy with God via a facilitated mental journey through visualizations and new spiritual experiences is fraught with danger. Our motivation for forgiveness should be more than just the blessings we reap from “letting go.” We forgive in obedience to God and because we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). Maturity in Christ comes with the exercise of the spiritual gifts within the church and “speaking the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:11–16). Sanctification comes through the Word of God (John 17:17).
The experience-based, extra-biblical practices of Sozo are of human invention and require human instruction—not to mention the payment of a “suggested donation.” With its visualization techniques, guided meditation, and “soaking prayer,” Sozo is, in many ways, closer to New Age mysticism than to Christianity.
The Bible tells us that a Christian’s peace is found in prayer and thanksgiving, not through being “Sozoed” (Philippians 4:6–7). A Christian’s destiny is to be conformed to the image of God’s Son (Romans 8:29), and God will complete His work in him (Philippians 1:6). A Christian has no need of extra, man-made programs when he has already been blessed with “every spiritual gift in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 1:3). A Christian has the written Word of God and needs not seek further messages from God or new experiences in the spiritual realm.
One of our goals is to “no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching” (Ephesians 4:14). Sozo is yet another “wind of teaching” that believers moving toward maturity would do well to avoid. – source
During Jan Markell’s two part interview with the distraught parents of a “lost” child, Caitlin, to the cult of Bethel church, they revealed that during the “Sozo” counseling, the practice of regressive memories (false memories planted in the victim’s mind) was used with their daughter. Bethel had her convinced that she was abused by her parents and that Bethel would keep her safe from them.
Satanic manipulation!
Fire Tunnels
Fire tunnels are used at Bethel and other NAR churches:
“The practice of “fire tunnels” is a relatively new phenomenon. The basic idea is that people form 2 lines (i.e. a “tunnel”) through which others walk to receive laying on of hands, prayer, prophecy, and “impartation of the spirit”. There are often physical manifestations noted in the participants going through the tunnels. Manifestations include appearing drunk, hysterical laughing, falling down, and twitching. It is important to note that NO Scriptural support or precedent can be found for this practice.” source
Examples of Fire tunnel practice:
Grave Soaking
I am hoping that the reader has discerned by now that these aberrant practices at Bethel are completely NEW AGE.
The practice of Grave Soaking is so over the top New Age (and might I add “creepy”? The people who are participating must be possessed. I have no other explanation.
Love Bombing
Sometimes Todd from “Wretched” is a bit too muchfor me. But in this instance, I believe that he presents Love Bombing for what it is. He also makes an observation about the lack of love in many sound churches. Oh, satan is so very sneaky.

NAR churches and the Seven Mountain Mandate
I could find no better resource on this subject – also called “Dominionism” than Jan Markell’s own radio broadcast:
But for those who would rather read, here is an explanation of the Seven Mountain Mandate:
What is the seven mountain mandate, and is it biblical?
Answer: The seven mountain mandate or the seven mountain prophecy is an anti-biblical and damaging movement that has gained a following in some Charismatic and Pentecostal churches. Those who follow the seven mountain mandate believe that, in order for Christ to return to earth, the church must take control of the seven major spheres of influence in society for the glory of Christ. Once the world has been made subject to the kingdom of God, Jesus will return and rule the world.
Here are the seven mountains, according to the seven mountain mandate:
1) Education
2) Religion
3) Family
4) Business
5) Government/Military
6) Arts/Entertainment
7) Media
These seven sectors of society are thought to mold the way everyone thinks and behaves. So, to tackle societal change, these seven “mountains” must be transformed. The mountains are also referred to as “pillars,” “shapers,” “molders,” and “spheres.” Those who follow the seven mountain mandate speak of “occupying” the mountains, “invading” the culture, and “transforming” society.
The seven mountain mandate has its roots in dominion theology, which started in the early 1970s with a goal of “taking dominion” of the earth, twisting Genesis 1:28 to include a mandate for Christians to control civil affairs and all other aspects of society. The New Apostolic Reformation, with its self-appointed prophets and apostles, has also influenced the seven mountain movement, lending dreams and visions and other extra-biblical revelations to the mandate.
The seven mountain mandate says that it is the duty of all Christians to create a worldwide kingdom for the glory of Christ. Teachers in the movement use Isaiah 2:2, which mentions mountains, in an attempt to support their view: “In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.” The principal goal of dominion theology and the seven mountain mandate is political and religious domination of the world through the implementation of the moral laws—and subsequent punishments—of the Old Testament.
Lance P. Wallnau coined the term seven mountain mandate and is its most prominent teacher. Wallnau adapts the missionary mandate of Jesus to His disciples to “go and make disciples” of all the nations into a mandate to effect social transformation. He reasons that, since churches already have a presence in every nation in the world, we need to now concentrate on influencing the systems (the “mountains”) within these nations. The problem, according to Wallnau, is that Christians are not currently influencing society outside the church. Christians have left the mountains susceptible to the “gates of hell,” which are spiritual portals over the “kings” (influence-shapers) of those mountains.
Wallnau’s teaching is loosely based on the Abrahamic Covenant, which promised Abraham a seed and a lasting inheritance. Also, Israel was promised in Deuteronomy 28:12–14 to be the “head and not the tail” among the nations. Proponents of the seven mountain mandate infer that the church, not Israel, is the entity to claim that promise. It is now up to believers to move in proximity to the “gates of hell” and position themselves to exert the greatest amount of influence. The church then needs to be dissected into “micro components” and infiltrate the mountains. Since every Christian can’t position himself at the top of every mountain, each individual is to find his particular smaller peak and be a leader in that realm.
The leading edge of the seven mountain mandate is the New Apostolic Reformation, which teaches that the church of the 21st century will be ruled by apostles and prophets. The movement is not governed by a specific denomination but by the alleged apostles and prophets who, of course, claim to receive direct revelation from God. In lending credence to modern-day prophets and apostles, the NAR denigrates the Bible and sola scriptura, emphasizes experience-oriented theology, and promotes mysticism.
The NAR and proponents of the seven mountain mandate have abandoned biblical teaching on the end times, choosing to believe that Christians must set the stage for Jesus’ second coming by achieving dominion over the world’s systems. According to 7-M theology, Jesus will only return to a world that mirrors the kingdom of God. This idea parallels the New Age teaching that anticipates a cosmic spiritual shift when man becomes a co-redeemer of Planet Earth.
Christians are called to be lights in the world (Matthew 5:14). There is no biblical requirement, however, to take the helm of all the world systems in order to usher in Christ’s kingdom. The Bible says that the world will grow worse, not better, in the last days (2 Timothy 3:1, 13; 2 Peter 3:3). (Emphasis added)
The theology associated with the seven mountain mandate is dangerous, and it sheds a terribly negative light on Christians everywhere. The 7-M teaching puts a tremendous burden on believers to perform, make progress in their relative spheres of influence, and set the stage for Jesus’ return to earth—all without a definite end point. Little emphasis is placed on the gospel message of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; the movement is more about staking claims and taking control. The seven mountain mandate is a movement led by false prophets, and it should be avoided and exposed whenever Bible-believing Christians encounter it. – source
When will people who are attempting to serve the Lord finally realize that He has everything we need to know in His Word? These grandiose ideas born out of the minds of men are stubble – nothing – God created the Universe and He created us. How arrogant for any of us to think that our ideas are better than His!
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:8-11).
God does NOT need our help. He needs for us to love and obey Him; to be Salt and Light in this dark world – and to occupy until He returns for us.
I hope and pray that I have equipped the brethren with enough solid information about Bethel and about NAR churches, that many will know how to speak to those who have fallen victim to this grand deception.
I also pray that if you are one who fell for this New Age heresy, that the Lord will use this article to convict you to leave this Cult called Bethel Church; or if you are in another NAR church with similar errant and evil teachings – that God will give you the strength to run from that place and never look back.
Please pray for the distraught parents in Jan’s interview and for their daughter, Caitlin. Pray that the Holy Spirit might even come to her in her dreams and reveal to her that she is in a cult and that she must come out.
And for the parents – that God will give them His peace which does pass all understanding.
When I awoke this morning I looked at the weather radar on my phone. It showed a massive rain storm heading for Maryland. I could not help but think of Ellicott City, where the people and shop owners are still reeling from the massive flash flood which occurred just about a month ago. . This was the second monstrous flood within two years for this town.
But as I dug in deeper into the history of Ellicott City, I found some alarming information. The two devastating floods of 2016 and 2018, were just two of many floods in that town since it was built.
The reader will see that the dates of these horrific floods were 1817, 1837, 1868,1901, 1917, 1923, 1938, 1942, 1952, 1956, 1972, 2016 and 2018. I had reported that the first flood of this town occurred in 1868. I have since discovered that the first flood date was actually 1817.
The town is prone to flooding from the Patapsco River and its tributary the Tiber River. These floods have had a major impact on the history of the town, often destroying important businesses and killing many.
Ellicott City has had major devastating floods in 1817, 1837, 1868,[58] 1901, 1917, 1923, 1938, 1942, 1952, 1956, 1972 (Hurricane Agnes), 1975 (Hurricane Eloise), 1989, 2011, 2016, and 2018. The 1868 flood washed away 14 houses, killing 39 to 43 (accounts vary) in and around Ellicott City. It wiped out the Granite Manufacturing Cotton Mill, Charles A. Gambrill’s Patapsco Mill, John Lee Carroll‘s mill buildings, and dozens of homes.[58] One mill was rebuilt by Charles Gambrill, which remained in operation until a fire in 1916.[10]:36
Historic flood stages marked on the B&O viaduct, c. 2006. Hurricane Agnes flood stage (14.5 feet (4.4 m)) is in the middle of the photograph.
A 1923 flood topped bridges, in 1952 an 8-foot (2.4 m) wall of water swept the shops of Ellicott City, and a 1956 flood inflicted heavy damage at the Bartigis Brothers plant. On June 21, 1972, the Patapsco River valley flooded 14.5 feet (4.4 m) from the remnants of Hurricane Agnes, taking out a concrete bridge, destroying the Jonathan Ellicott home, and the 1910 Victor Blode water filtration plant, and flooding Main Street to the Odd Fellowshall.[10]:26 The Old Main Line of the B&O Railroad also sustained serious damage.
On September 27, 1975, the town was flooded 9.0 feet (2.7 m) from Hurricane Eloise. Floods also occurred September 22, 1989, from Hurricane Hugo, and on September 7, 2011, flooding 11.0 feet (3.4 m) from Tropical Storm Lee.
On July 30, 2016, a storm dropped 6 inches (150 mm) of rain in two hours on the community. The resulting flash flood caused severe damage in historic Ellicott City, especially along Main Street.[59] Many homes, roads, businesses, sidewalks, and more were destroyed by the flooding, including the town’s landmark clock.[60] A state of emergency was declared, and two people died as a result of the flooding.[61][62]
On the afternoon of May 27, 2018, historic Main Street flooded again, after the region received over eight inches of rain in the span of two hours,[63]just days before the new flood emergency alert system was to become operational.[64]
The FIRES of Ellicott city
Documenting the many fires in Ellicott City was more challenging. I felt that the best way to show the reader about these fires was to post newspaper articles about each blaze:
This haunting stone gazebo is one of the few remnants of an abandoned college that has been a magnet for local legends.
Buried in the woods of Patapsco Valley State Park are the ruins of St. Mary’s College, and since the main buildings have been torn down a single stone gazebo still shelters a metal cross despite the popular local legends involving Satan-worshippers and ghosts.
*** As of 2017, the Cross was stolen – leaving only the altar
St. Mary’s College was built in 1868 to train young men on their way to taking up the cloth. Unfortunately for the college (but fortunately for urban explorers) the schools student body slowly evaporated until there were just not enough to keep things going and the facility was abandoned in 1972. The empty buildings slowly decayed as curious explorers, urban legend hunters, and hormonal teenagers took charge of the property. The haunting ruins soon became the subject of countless local legends involving every sort of supernatural clap-trap from satanic cults to restless souls, eventually earning the buildings the colloquial name, “Hell House.”
***Notice the date the college was built 1868 is the same year a devastating flood destroyed Ellicott City, MD.
After a fire in 1997 the buildings were essentially gutted (although no less haunting) and by 2006 the remaining structures were torn down. (emphasis added)
While there are still other remnants of the college littering the grounds including foundations and concrete staircases, the most stunning relic on the site is the Christian altar that still stands beneath a crumbling, colonnaded pavilion. The large metal cross sitting beneath the faux-classical dome seems like some ancient artifact from some bygone time. The ghost stories about Hell House may be malarky, but the site of the eerie old altar might make visitors think differently.
Update August, 2017: The cross is gone and the gazebo is still standing. – source

Some of the Ruins – Notice the Illuminati symbol
In other articles I have written about Ellicott City, I have told the reader about the pagans, witches and WICCA members who own businesses and how Covens of witches and pagans come together in the city to worship their master – Satan.
I see clearly why the Lord raised up the Christian Coffee House where I used to sing. It was a glimmer of light from the Lord amidst evil, sorcery and witchcraft in Ellicott City.
I also now see why the Lord had “The Upper Room” on the top floor of a building, situated in the worst flooding area of the town. Our Father was protecting His people!
When the man who ran “The Upper Room” (coffee house) died in 1997; no one took over his position and the coffee house has been closed to this day.
Pray for the people who live in Ellicott City. We should pray for their safety, but more importantly we should be praying for their salvation.
In my prayers for this city which seems to be damned, I am specifically asking the Lord to open the eyes of residents and shop owners, that they would clearly see that the history of their town is in no way normal.
It seems to be cursed by God.
May He help so many from Ellicott to see the demonic influence on their town, and may these same people turn from their sins and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for their Salvation.
The breaking story of the Walmarts which were shut down in 2015 “suddenly” has now come back into the news. But this time, the real reason for the closings in 2015 are being revealed, with one spin: The Leftwing/Marxist Trump-hating press is blaming this on President Trump!
I have memory problems because of a brain injury, but I certainly remember the 2015 sudden closings of Walmarts which stirred up many people online to pose the question: “What’s going on?”
Wal-Mart suddenly closed five stores in four states on Monday for alleged plumbing problems.
The closures could last up to six months and affect roughly 2,200 workers in Texas, California, Oklahoma, and Florida, CNN Money reports.
Wal-Mart employees say they were completely blindsided by the news, having been notified only a couple hours before the stores closed at 7 p.m. Monday.
“Everybody just panicked and started crying,” Venanzi Luna, a manager at a store in Pico Rivera, California, told CNN Money.
All workers will receive paid leave for two months. After that, full-time workers could become eligible for severance, according to CNN Money. But part-time workers will be on their own.
Local officials and employees have questioned Wal-Mart’s reasoning for the closures.
According to ABC News, “no plumbing permits have been pulled in any of the five cities where the stores were suddenly closed for at least six months.” The cities where locations were closed include: Brandon, Florida; Pico Rivera, California; Livingston, Texas; Midland, Texas; and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A city official in Pico Rivera confirmed to CBS Los Angeles that the city has not received any permit requests for building repairs.
In Midland, Texas, where another store was closed, a city official told ABC News that his plumbing inspector was turned away when he visited the store and offered to help secure construction permits.
Wal-Mart plumbing technician Codi Bauer, who worked at the now shuttered store in Brandon, Florida, questioned the company’s time frame for the repairs.
“Even if they had to replace the whole sewer line, it wouldn’t take six months to replace a whole sewer line in that store,” he told WFLA.
We reached out to Wal-Mart for comment and will update when we hear back. – source
The press wouldn’t cover it because of their worship and allegiance to Obama. Unbelievable that it comes out now that thousands of migrant children have been living there since 2015, and the corrupt media and politicians are pinning it on Trump.
Well, I’m here to tell you that this was initiated and put into play by our former Marxist president Barack Obama!!
And Brethren – what was this all about? What was the ulterior motive? AMNESTY!! And why do they want Amnesty for all immigrants? VOTES!!!
Pray for President Trump and his family. Pray for the unsaved people in our country – especially the ones who are complicit with making this devilish story a “Trump” matter, when he knew NOTHING about this!
