Church of Sweden Will No Longer Call God “Lord or “Him”

I will not use pronouns or any verbiage which may be called politically incorrect when I am referring to the heads of these so-called churches in Sweden.

I will refer to them as what they truly are:  HERETICS and LIARS. I am sorry if I have offended any of my readers, but unfortunately “truth” is the new hate speech.

The gender neutral crowd are simply modern day feminists and homosexuals.  Satan has brought them into “churches” to confront, confuse and corrupt the Word of God.

I am sick to death of those who would claim to belong to our Lord Jesus, yet hate His Word. I am also sick to death of the so-called “Social Gospel.”

NEWS FLASH:  Jesus is LORD; God is called HE throughout the Scriptures.  Men and women are EQUAL in the eyes of God, but men and women clearly have different roles. God made this earth – the universe – and he made all of us.  Should the clay tell the potter how to do His work?

“Woe to him who strives with his Maker!
Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth!
Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’
Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’? (Isaiah 45:9).

Church of Sweden Sets New Gender Neutral Rules: God Will No Longer Be Called “He” or “Lord”

The Church of Sweden set new rules regarding language to make the church more inclusive. The Church is urging clergy to use gender-neutral language and refrain from terms like “Lord” and “him.”

Last year Swedish lesbian bishop Eva Brune proposed removing crosses and Christian symbols from her church to make it more inclusive.

Breitbart.com reported:

The Church of Sweden has voted to adopt a controversial new handbook which says masculine references to God, such as “He” and “Lord” should be scrapped so as to be more “inclusive”.

Despite heavy criticism from organisations including Royal Swedish Academy, on Thursday the church approved the new handbook with a large majority.

The Church Handbook — which was last updated in 1986 — sets out how services, baptisms, weddings and funerals should be conducted, in language, liturgy, theology and music, and is therefore central to the church’s activities.

According to local media, many priests have objected to directions in the new handbook regarding language, which have been added with the goal of making the church “more inclusive”.

This includes instructing clergy to refer to God in a gender-neutral fashion, without “unnecessarily” using the male pronoun “He”, or terms like “Lord”.

Question: “Will there be a great apostasy / falling away during the end times?”

Answer: The Bible indicates that there will be a great apostasy during the end times. The “great apostasy” is mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. The KJV calls it the “falling away,” while the NIV and ESV call it “the rebellion.” And that’s what an apostasy is: a rebellion, an abandonment of the truth. The end times will include a wholesale rejection of God’s revelation, a further “falling away” of an already fallen world.

The Greek word translated “rebellion” or “falling away” in verse 3 is apostasia, from which we get the English word apostasy. It refers to a general defection from the true God, the Bible, and the Christian faith. Every age has its defectors, but the falling away at the end times will be complete and worldwide. The whole planet will be in rebellion against God and His Christ. Every coup requires a leader, and into this global apostasy will step the Antichrist. We believe this takes place after the church has been raptured from the earth.

Jesus warned the disciples concerning the final days in Matthew 24:10–12: “At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.” These are the characteristics of the great apostasy of the end times. source

Brethren, I really must not write many more words, as I think that my anger at this apostasy will drive me into saying things which are not helpful.  Yes – we must pray for these deluded souls. Some are clearly beyond being saved (or seem to be). They love their sin and they believe the lie and refuse to come to the truth.

But we must always pray until God says stop. Then we shake the dust from our feet and move on.

Shalom b’Yeshua

MARANATHA!

  1. I am in agreement with you Geri. These people need much prayer. They have obviously never read God’s word. It is a sad commentary on how Satan has crept into the church and even worse if it was possible, how people have replaced the truth for a lie. Unless there is repentance they will end up as firewood. If that sounds awful to the P.C. crowd, it should. It is the worse thing one could think of to fall into the hands of an angry God. Can’t say they were not warned. I have already spoken enough to get me tossed into P.C. jail so I will stop here.

  2. As David said in Psalm 139, ” Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD, and do I not loathe those who rise up against you. I hate them with complete hatred. I count them my enemies”, I feel the same way.

While we are not called to hate anyone, we can be angered at the blatant disprespect to the God of all creation! I hate the evil ways that are gaining popularity. Evil is called good and good evil. All I can remind us all about is that this increase in evil is a sign of the imminent coming of Christ.

Each morning I tell God that it is like looking into hell to see the abominable things being done. To think that the name of Jesus has become a hate word is beyond my comprehension. I can only wait patiently on Christ while I finish the work he has given me to do.

God bless you, Geri, for never compromising the truth! Your messages line up with the Word of God.
