No doubt, the events happening in the world today are scary and can bring much anxiety. But we who belong to the Lord must come to Him with our fears, anxious thoughts and troubles. He says, “fear not” throughout His Word.

Let’s look at some of those verses:

Psalm 56:3-4: “When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. In God, whose word I praise, in God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me?”

This passage of Scripture speaks to us, the Body of Christ. We love and trust Him. We praise His Holy Word. HE is Creator of the universe, and yet He is Abba Father (Daddy) to us. He has written our names in His Book of Life. Glorious!

Compare that to what mere men can do to us. The very worst they can do is kill us. As I’ve heard others say, that will simply change our address.

“Absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8).

HE is with us!

Deuteronomy 31:6: “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

When I read the passage above, I always think of Stephen who was stoned for his faith in Jesus.

Stephen Put to Death (Acts 7:54-60)

“Now when they heard this, they were cut to the quick, and they began gnashing their teeth at him. But being full of the Holy Spirit, he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God; and he said, ‘Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.’

But they cried out with a loud voice, and covered their ears and rushed at him with one impulse. When they had driven him out of the city, they began stoning him; and the witnesses laid aside their robes at the feet of a young man named Saul. They went on stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said, ‘Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!’ Then falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, ‘Lord, do not hold this sin against them!’ Having said this, he fell asleep.”

Stephen endured the pain of being stoned, but his focus was on what he saw in heaven. He was overcome with joy, knowing that he would soon be with his first love. He was so filled with God’s love that he asked Him not to hold the stoning against them.

Psalm 27:1: “The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?”

Isaiah 41:10: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand”

Matthew 10:28: “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

We belong to Almighty God! Isn’t that the most glorious thing in the world? He never sleeps and is watching over us every minute of every day.

Romans 8:15-17: “For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, ‘Abba! Father!’ The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

Will we suffer in this life? Absolutely. Our Jesus suffered on that horrid Cross for SIN that He had never committed—and willingly. He knew what was waiting on the other side of the Cross. He knew that His sacrifice would result in reconciling us to His Father. He gave us His righteousness. We deserved hell.

LOVE sent Yeshua to that Cross.

The apostle Paul knew that his suffering would advance the message of salvation. He knew the impact his imprisonment would have on those who were watching. They wondered, “How is this man still worshiping his God?”

The Gospel Is Preached (Philippians 1:12-15)

“Now I want you to know, brethren, that my circumstances have turned out for the greater progress of the gospel, 13 so that my imprisonment in the cause of Christ has become well known throughout the whole praetorian guard and to everyone else, 14 and that most of the brethren, trusting in the Lord because of my imprisonment, have far more courage to speak the Word of God without fear.”

What do you fear?

2 Timothy 1:7: “For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.”

Do you fear ISIS?

How about our own government?

Do you fear retirement?

Do you fear for your children who have walked away from God?

Do you fear for your health?

In 2 Timothy 1:7, God is telling us what He has not given us, and what He has given us.

He did NOT give us a timid spirit. He DID give us power and love and discipline.

1 John 4:18: “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.”

Can you remember before you were born-again from above, how the thought of death brought you such anxiety? If you were anything like me, you were convinced that God was going to punish you harshly for all of your sin, and cast you into hell.

I love the part of 1 John 4:18 which says “perfected love.” Those who do not know Him, are not perfected in love. They fear punishment, and rightly so. They find themselves still under the law, which they cannot keep. They feel doomed to failure and the fear of punishment looms over them.

Those of us who belong to Christ know that we were “perfected in love” – HIS Love. The better covenant of grace perfected us and made us holy. We know that we can approach the throne of God boldly. We know how much He loves us.

He showed us how much He loves us when He sent His Son to pay the penalty for our sin, so that when we leave this body, we can stand in His presence—clean and blameless!

So, the next time you are overcome with fear, read the Words from our Lord which comfort and assure us that He is with us, and He will not ever leave us. Brethren, this is true. God cannot lie.

When His peace sets in yet again, do what Paul did all of the time:

Philippians 4:4: “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!”

Blessings to you in Yeshua.

This article was written and published earlier, but in lieu of the new legislation that Ted Cruz has presented to the Senate, I felt that it was important to repost this piece with an updated title.

As an introduction, here is the report of aforementioned legislation:

Ted Cruz Just Made An Enormous Move Against The Muslim Brotherhood That Could Impact Obama

Obama is going to hate this.

The Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamist organization founded in Egypt in 1928 that could be finding itself in trouble soon with the United States Congress.

Robert Mueller, former director of the FBI, said about the group during testimony in 2011: “I can say at the outset that elements of the Muslim Brotherhood both here and overseas have supported terrorism.”

One of the aims of the Muslim Brotherhood is to make sure Islamic states are in fact ruled by Sharia, or Islamic law.

Its most famous slogan is “Islam is the solution.”

One member of the Brotherhood was hosted at the White House last year.

That could soon be changing. Republican presidential candidate and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, along with Florida Republican Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, introduced a bill this week called the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act.

Passage of the bill would not automatically designate the organization as a terrorist group. Instead, it would express a “sense of Congress” that the Brotherhood meets the criteria of being a terrorist organization. The State Department would be given 60 days to express whether agrees. If the State Department decides against listing the organization as a terrorist group, it would have to provide a “detailed justification as to which criteria have not been met.”

Five countries – Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Russia – already consider the Brotherhood to be a terrorist group.

US intelligence officials have stated that terrorist groups such as Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and al Qaida can all trace their roots to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Cruz stated about the bill: “As this bill details, the Brotherhood’s stated goal is to wage violent jihad against its enemies, and our legislation is a reality check that the United States is on that list as well.”

What do you think of the new bill that would express a “sense of Congress” that the Muslim Brotherhood is in fact a terrorist organization? [1] – source

This article is written as a warning. We have a Muslim Brotherhood member living in our White House. He refuses to call jihad terrorism “Islamic Terrorism.” He continues to release dangerous terrorists from Gitmo. He has infiltrated his White House and major agencies with radical Muslims. The history of Egypt, Israel and America given in this piece, will hopefully wake people up. We are under siege!

Remember the Arab Spring? In particularly, the one in Egypt? In 2011, Obama, ordinarily stoic and lacking emotion, told the President of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak, “Step down – it’s time to leave!” Do you recall the rioting in the streets? Did you feel, as I did, that this was well orchestrated and planned out by some organization — but who?

Before the so-called Arab Spring in Egypt, I had been reading about BHO’s affiliation with leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood. He had been meeting with these people on a regular basis. I searched the internet for credible information on the MB organization. What I was finding was alarming. They were “Islamists” which is a term meaning Political Islam, or said another way Global Islamization.

“Founded in 1928 by the Egyptian schoolteacher/activist Hasan al-Banna (a devout admirer of Adolf Hitler and the Nazis), the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) — a Sunni entity — is one of the oldest, largest and most influential Islamist organizations in the world.” [1]

A little history on Egypt: Anwar Sadat was the President of Egypt from 1970 until his assassination on October 6, 1981. Although Sadat had initiated a war with Israel in 1973, he later made peace with Israel. He also turned away from relations with the Soviet Union. Sadat even traveled to Israel and addressed the Knesset in person. Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and Anwar Sadat both won the 1978 Nobel Peace Prize for the Camp David Accords.

On that day in 1981 in Cairo, which I remember so well, Anwar Sadat was assassinated by men posing as soldiers. Sadat’s Vice President, Hosni Mubarak would lead Egypt for three decades, keeping in place the peace agreement signed by Sadat and Begin.

Fast forward to 2011. Because I follow the news in the Middle East, I instinctively knew that the Muslim Brotherhood had been behind the scenes – provoking the rioting in the streets of Cairo. I also knew that Obama had close ties to the MB, especially to its leader, Mohamed Morsi.

Hosni Mubarak was no good guy. That’s usually the case in most Arab countries. There are bad guys and then there are REALLY BAD guys! Mubarak kept the peace treaty with Israel intact from his predecessor, Sadat. But he stole money from the people and was a tyrant of sorts. I saw him as a leader who was leaving Israel alone, so for that I liked him.

With Obama urging Mubarak to leave, and knowing about his friendship with Morsi and the other MB members, I figured that Morsi had his eye on the presidency, once Mubarak was out. I read news sources saying that Morsi had been interviewed, and that he had no plans to be in the running for the presidency. I knew that was false. I also knew that if Mohamed Morsi was to get into that position, he would instate sharia law immediately.

Just as I thought would happen, after Mubarak fled, and some semblance of order was established, there were talks of new elections being held. It was no surprise when Mohamed Morsi became one of the candidates. He won the election in June 2012 and I knew that Obama was elated — this was Obama’s intent all along. I have always said that anything that Barack Obama does is calculated. Don’t ever think that this man is stupid. He is evil, but definitely not stupid.

After the election, Morsi talked of sharia law in Egypt. Egypt has always had a secular government. Mohamed Morsi was going to change that – he thought.

One year from Morsi’s election, riots broke out in the streets of Cairo once again. This time it was an uprising of the people, asking for Morsi to resign.

“Morsi was declared unseated on 3 July 2013 by a military coup council consisting of Defense Minister Abdul Fatah al-Sisi, opposition leader Mohamed ElBaradei, the Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed el-Tayeb, and Coptic Pope Tawadros II. The military suspended the constitution, established a new administration headed by the chief justice, and initiated a “brutal” crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood.” [2]

If anyone had any doubts about where Obama’s loyalty lies, I am hoping that this article will help clear the fog and let you see the truth. We have a Muslim president who refuses to use the term Islamic terrorism, and does not care about the well being of this nation. His true feelings are stated in his books. This is one of the most revealing statements ever:

From “The Audacity of Hope”

“I will stand with them [Muslims] should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” YES, Mr. President, we see that clearly now.

So, now the President of Egypt, Abdul Fatah al-Sisi, is calling on imams across the region and the world, for Islamic Reform. This man is one brave soul. PLEASE pray for him, that he will not be assassinated! Here is what he is asking of the Muslim world:

“It’s inconceivable that the thinking that we hold most sacred should cause the entire umma (multinational community of Muslim believers) to be a source of anxiety, danger, killing and destruction for the rest of the world. Impossible! That thinking – I am not saying ‘religion’ but ‘thinking’ – that corpus of texts and ideas that we have sacralized over the years, to the point that departing from them has become almost impossible, is antagonizing the entire world. It’s antagonizing the entire world!”

“Is it possible that 1.6 billion [Muslims] should want to kill the rest of the world’s inhabitants – that is 7 billion—so that they themselves may live? Impossible! … I say and repeat again that we are in need of a religious revolution. You, imams, are responsible before Allah. The entire world, I say it again, the entire world is waiting for your next move… because this umma is being torn, it is being destroyed, it is being lost – and it is being lost by our own hands.” [3]

Brethren, we have a dangerous man in our White House. He sides with terrorists. He is letting extremely dangerous men out of Gitmo. He is doing exactly what he said he would do in his book.

I have had Christians say to me “But you should be praying for him!” And to them I answer “Yes! I am praying for him!”

Psalm 109:8

“Let his days be few; and let another take his office.”

Yeshua is our only Shalom
