“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me”  (John 15:18-21)

The Words of Jesus Christ.  He is telling us to expect persecution and hate from the world.  That is a clear sign that we are following our King.

But what of this pope?  He is adored. He is followed. He is worshiped — by the world.

What does that say, brethren?  He is not one of us. He is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. But he is worse than that. He will point the world – his adoring followers to the Antichrist, who will rule this world.

“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell”  (Matthew 10:28).

We who love and follow the Lord Jesus Christ, we will be with Him for eternity.  The world may kill our bodies – but they cannot kill our faith in Jesus. And they can’t change our destiny which is in heaven with our Lord. They cannot pluck us from His hand.

“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth” (Psalm 46:10)

YES. Be still and know that He is God and that He has you in the palm of His hand.
