Racist democrats

“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!

How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!”

(Isaiah 14:12).

We forget that when Satan roams around the earth, seeking whom he will devour, it’s not just individuals he seeks to deceive; it’s whole nations. He is the father of lies and the author of confusion. If you are a student of history, you know that countries have risen to greatness, only to crumble and fall.

There is a quote which some attribute to Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s propaganda minister “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.” Some believe that Hitler himself said this. No matter which evil mind spoke those words, there is, unfortunately, truth in the statement. And as believers, we know from whom this originates.

The lie which has been propagated for over a century is that Democrats are the caring party. We’ve been told that they are for the underdog. History has been rewritten to tout the Democratic party as the party for the black man.

Many of you know that I was brought up in an ultra liberal Jewish home. We were expected to be Democrats – no discussion on that was allowed. We were Jews, therefore we were Democrats. I often wondered about this as a young person, but did not dare to question it.

When I was born-again in 1983, upon reading the Word of God, I could no longer reconcile the platforms of the Democratic party with what I was reading from God’s Word. Abortion was obviously not of God. I spoke out about abortion being murder. I wrote many letters to the editor through the years about the evil of abortion.

Now, gay marriage is the democratic party’s newest social victory, or so perceived as a victory. It has become so clear to many people who have been duped for such a long time, that democrats are, in general, immoral and unethical people. They are a God hating people. At the last DNC, God was booed. Yes, you read that right – they booed the Creator of the Universe!

I happened upon a website which chronicles the events throughout American history, that clearly shows the opposite of what the common person would believe today about the Democratic party.

The website authors are black conservative women, who realized that the lie about the Democratic party, which has been told down through our history, has been believed because it was told so many times…..remember Hitler’s quote?

This is from one of the websites’ writers, Kuuleme Stephens:

“I found this article written in 2008 and I just had to feature it here! It is some interesting reading, and I do encourage others to do research and look for themselves!!! I was “born” into the Democrat Party, most of my family members are Democrats! It was not until later on (after I joined the military, and was out on my own in the real world) that I began to hear things about the Republican Party and began to research who was actually for the Black Community , Ending Slavery, and the Civil Rights Movement and who was not. I think it is very important that people expose themselves to and know accurate history, not just the stuff that you have been spoon fed from the Left, other family members, and friends. If people would educate themselves, this Country wouldn’t be going down the drain so fast! I hope you enjoy the article and please share this with any and every Liberal friend (Black, White or Any Race) that you may have, so they might have a chance to learn accurate history and educate themselves as well!” [1]

The article of which Ms. Kuuleme spoke is posted here in its entirety. Please note that this piece was written in 2008, before the reign of Barack Hussein Obama began:

“The KKK was the terrorist wing of the Democrat Party:

Our nation’s top historians reveal that the Democratic Party gave us the Ku Klux Klan, Black Codes, Jim Crow Laws and other repressive legislation which resulted in the multitude of murders, lynchings, mutilations, and intimidations (of thousands of black and white Republicans). On the issue of slavery: historians say the Democrats gave their lives to expand it, the Republicans gave their lives to ban it.

Democrats fought to expand slavery while Republicans fought to end it.

Democrats passed the Repeal Act of 1894 that overturned civil right laws enacted by Republicans.

Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s first appointment to the Supreme Court was a life member of the Ku Klux Klan, Sen. Hugo Black, Democrat of Alabama.

Democrat Senator John F. Kennedy voted against the 1957 Civil rights Act.

Democrat President John F. Kennedy opposed the 1963 March on Washington by Dr. King.

Democrat President John F. Kennedy, had Dr. King wiretapped and investigated by the FBI.

Democrat President Bill Clinton’s mentor was U.S. Senator J. William Fulbright, an Arkansas Democrat and a supporter of racial segregation.

Southern Democrats opposed desegregation and integration.

Democrats opposed:

The Civil Rights of 1866

The Enforcement Act of 1870

Republicans enacted civil rights laws in the 1950’s and 1960’s, over the objection of Democrats.
Republicans founded the HBCU’s (Historical Black College’s and Universities) and started the NAACP to counter the racist practices of the Democrats.

Republicans pushed through much of the ground-breaking civil rights legislation in Congress.

Republicans fought slavery and amended the Constitution to grant blacks freedom, citizenship and the right to vote.

Republicans pushed through much of the groundbreaking civil rights legislation from the 1860s through the 1960s.

Republican President Dwight Eisenhower sent troops into the South to desegregate the schools.

Republican President Eisenhower appointed Chief Justice Earl Warren to the Supreme Court, which resulted in the 1954 Brown vs. Board of Education decision.

Republican Senator Everett Dirksen from Illinois, not Democrat President Lyndon Johnson, was the one who pushed through the civil rights laws of the 1960’s
Republican Senator Everett Dirksen from Illinois wrote the language for the 1965 Voting Rights Act.

Republican Senator Everett Dirksen from Illinois also crafted the language for the Civil Rights Act of 1968 which prohibited discrimination in housing.

Republican and black American, A. Phillip Randolph, organized the 1963 March by Dr. King on Washington.

The 1964 Civil Rights Act Roll Call Vote: In the House, only 64 percent of the Democrats (153 yes, 91 no), but 80 percent of the Republicans (136 yes, 35 no), voted for it. In the Senate, while only 68 percent of the Democrats endorsed the bill (46 yes, 21 no), 82 percent of the Republicans voted to enact it (27 yes, 6 no).

Thaddeus Stevens, a Radical Republican that introduced legislation to give African Americans the so-called 40 acres and a mule and Democrats overwhelmingly voted against the bill.

During the Senate debates on the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871, it was revealed that members of the Democratic Party formed many terrorist organizations like the Ku Klux Klan to murder and intimidate African Americans voters. The Ku Klux Klan Act was a bill introduced by a Republican Congress to stop Klan Activities.

History reveals that Democrats lynched, burned, mutilated and murdered thousands of blacks and completely destroyed entire towns and communities occupied by middle class Blacks, including Rosewood, Florida, the Greenwood District in Tulsa Oklahoma, and Wilmington, North Carolina to name a few.

History reveals that it was Abolitionists and Radical Republicans such as Henry L. Morehouse and General Oliver Howard that started many of the traditional Black colleges, while Democrats fought to keep them closed. Many of our traditional Black colleges are named after white Republicans.

After exclusively giving the Democrats their votes for the past 25 years, the average African American cannot point to one piece of civil rights legislation sponsored solely by the Democratic Party that was specifically designed to eradicate the unique problems that African Americans face today.

As of 2004, the Democrat Party (the oldest political party in America) has never elected a black man to the United States Senate, the Republicans have elected three.” [2]

It amazes and saddens me, that after more than a century of civil rights battles, blacks still flock to the party what opposed every civil rights initiative since the Emancipation Proclamation! The party of the Ku Klux Klan has duped the black community into believing that they are the only party who cares about them. Blacks are so convinced that the Republicans are evil, and opposed to them, that they persecute the many blacks who are becoming Republicans!

“In humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will” (2 Timothy 2: 25-26).

“People’s perception of freedom never ceases to amaze me. French revolutionaries sent the ruling class to the guillotine, only to enslave themselves to the class structure of socialism. The Russian Czars were chased out of their own country so that “freedom fighters” could live under the tyranny of communism. And, after more than a century of civil liberty battles and triumphs, African-Americans are flocking to the party that opposed every measurable civil rights initiative since the Emancipation Proclamation. It should stun historians that the party of the Ku Klux Klan and segregation now has an undeniable stranglehold on black America.

In fact, a quick Google search will yield thousands of results claiming the mantel of moral superiority in the name of Democrats. The Left’s self-righteous proclamation of compassion is matched only by their insatiable eagerness to twist history. It was the Republican Party – the party established on the abolitionist platform – that passed the Civil Rights acts of 1866 and 1875. The founders of the NAACP were all registered Republicans. Dwight Eisenhower (a Republican) is the president who sent troops to Arkansas to de-segregate schools. Republicans carried the Civil Rights acts of the ‘50s and 60’s to the President’s desk. Richard Nixon wrote the US commission on Civil Rights in 1975. It was George W Bush who appointed more minorities to his cabinet than any President before him.

And despite the fact that the Democrat party supported the KKK, instituted Jim Crow laws, fought for “separate but equal” southern laws, and opposed Martin Luther King Jr.’s march on Washington, they claim to be the party of the downtrodden. Perusing through websites like Salon, the New York Times, and the Huffington Post, one can find an endless number of articles describing the GOP as a party of rich, and racist, white men.

Today’s Party of Barack Obama and Harry Reid, ignores FDR’s history of opposing anti-lynching laws. They ignore John F Kennedy’s vote, as a Senator, against the 1950’s era civil rights laws. They even ignore the egregious violence and lawlessness that plague some of America’s most Democrat cities. (Such as Detroit, Chicago, Washington DC and Los Angeles.)

In a raging display that resembles the clinical definition of “denial”, the American left claims that Republicans have abandoned their civil-rights-minded past. They assert that the right wing of America is nothing more than racist, backward thinking rednecks who “cling to their guns, religion, and an antipathy toward people not like them.” (Remember Obama saying that?) But nothing could be further from the truth.

Conservative values – values that were intrinsic in American democracy long before the Republican Party – have always been the core of the right wing. Limited government, individualism, and equality are three values that helped spur the Republicans onto the national scene; and ultimately lead to their success in the fight for civil liberties. Today’s conservative causes continue the traditionally Republican heritage of promoting a better life for every American:

Welfare reform was not an assault on poor people of color. Rather, it was about lifting people (of any race or creed) out of poverty. Conservatives such as Newt Gingrich, Ronald Reagan, and even Calvin Coolidge, always believed the success of a welfare program should be judged by how many people no longer need it. While Newt Gingrich worked on reform that would limit welfare payments, Democrats looked at ways to make poverty more comfortable. Ninety-nine weeks of unemployment (today’s standard) is not designed to promote self-sufficiency; but it is certainly a populist and pandering attempt for votes. Wouldn’t a truly successful nation have little need for government-funded lunch programs, long-term unemployment benefits, and taxpayer-funded entitlements? Had Liberalism succeeded in lifting the afflicted out of victimization, wouldn’t cities like Chicago, Detroit, and Philadelphia be centers of prosperity and affluence for minorities?

Conservatism, and the GOP, have always been the party of the individual. Individual liberty and freedom is the defining measure of national freedom. Martin Luther King Jr. did not dream of a world where his children were treated different simply because of the color of their skin; he dreamed of a world that judged them on their intellect, their effort, their success and “the content of their character.” (Oh, and by the way, he was a Republican.)

In short: Conservatism proudly declares that rights are granted by God, and every human being is capable of prosperity. Government’s role, is to protect the individual from oppression, and guard our individual rights to life, liberty and property.

Liberalism declares rights are gifts from Government. The American Left appeals to those who identify themselves as victims in the same way socialists and communists appealed to the oppressed masses of Europe and Russia. The truth is, their policies only promise the destruction of the powerful, not the empowerment of the oppressed. And thus, the “victims” will forever remain “victims” of urban violence, failing schools, deteriorating infrastructure and welfare dependency.

The Republican Party hasn’t changed. Only the way it is perceived has evolved over the decades.

And likewise for the Party of the KKK.” [3]

Well, the lie was told over and over by the liberal media, and by professors on college campuses; not to mention that it is taught also in our public schools. And just as Hitler proclaimed — it was told enough times so as for people to finally believe it.

The average person on the street, knows almost nothing about the history of America. Even the kids who are attending Ivy League schools show their ignorance of history when interviewed.

Please use this article as a teaching tool for those who are deceived among your friends and family.

John Adams once said:
“Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.”

I do pray that the Lord would give America another chance, but I am sad to say that I believe it is too late. The ramifications of the passing of the SCOTUS decision on gay marriage is the final nail in the coffin of this once great nation under God.
