Thoughts on the Coming of “Israel’s” messiah from One Reader and Two News Outlets from Israel

This is the article in question:

TOP ULTRA ORTHODOX RABBIS IN ISRAEL CLAIM THAT THEIR “MESSIAH” HAS BEEN REVEALED – I Believe That We Should Pay Attention: Is This the true man of sin or a Hoax?

This is a response in comments on Absolute Truth from a reader, Paul Ragon:

“A valid question. The briefest answer I can give is this: no, but this is still an interesting development.

There is of course much debate about this. I am, based on decades of study, including seminary, convinced of the pre-tribulation rapture of the true church, the remnant of born again believers in Messiah. Scripture teaches (in Rev.) that the opening of the first of the Seven Seals is coming of the anti-christ. He will “assume” that role as a new world geopolitical leader who finalizes a 7 year peace treaty with Israel, presumably on behalf of a multi-national world entity (I submit the UN). That starts the tribulation and that man is the anti-christ.

The church-the bride of Messiah- will NOT be here then. Whether we see these events take place on earth or not is debatable as nothing in Scripture specifies any detail regarding this.

My personal take is that this man is not the one to be the AC as he is in no way an outside world geopolitical leader. However, any time activity in Israel hints at identifying said person, it should be further proof of how close we are to be caught up to Messiah in the clouds (1 Thes 4:17). So, in that regard our wonderful sister in Messiah has brought an interesting point to our attention.

I hope this helps! As an ordained minister of the Gospel, teacher for decades, I am convince our departure is very close, certainly in our lifetimes. I cannot wait!

Blessings in Messiah!

Here are two articles from publications in Israel:

The Coming of the Messiah at the End of Days, i.e., in our time, is one of the most sensitive and subtle questions. Because our journey to the Heavenly Jerusalem will be led by the Light of the Messiah, I will quote some concepts about the Coming Messiah and later I will summarise my own understanding. The quotations are reasonably long in order to present the ideas of the Kabbalists in more detail.

In the last chapter of his book A Kabbalistic Universe27. End of Days, the great Kabbalist, the late Z’ev ben Simon Halevi (Peace and Light to his Soul) states (pp. 244-245):

The position of the Messiah in Kabbalah and in many other esoteric traditions is very precise. He is the perfect human being, the living ideal for all humanity. His initial position on Jacob’ Ladder is at the simultaneous Malkhut of Azilut, the Tiferet of Beriah and the Keter of Yezirah. Here, where the upper three Worlds meet in the Throne of God, he presides over the innermost part of the incarnate mankind. Whoever holds this role as the Axis of the Age is the link between the Divine ELOHIM, the Holy Spirits and humanity. The Messiah, it is said, is the true Son of God and not his servant, as all the Archangels are despite their high rank and the name Benai ELOHIM. This special relationship is because Adam, or man, was God’s firstborn, that is, the being who was of the ELOHIM’S own begetting in the DIVINE’S own likeness. Thus it is that those of mankind who have not realised that in their Self is God seeing God are given the choice of perceiving the purpose of human existence in the reality of the Messiah, the last born spirit to incarnate below. While, for example, orthodox Christians say the Messiah has come and orthodox Jews say the Messiah is yet to come, the truth of the matter is that the Messiah has been, is and always be present. It could be no other way, if one knows the place of the Anointed above the Self and at the Crown of all incarnate mankind where humanity meets ADONAI at the Malkhut of Divinity.

In another of his books, A Kabbalistic View of History,Halevi writes about some great Initiates in human history who in fact fulfilled the function of Messiahs for their epochs:

As regards the Persian esoteric tradition, it introduced the motion of the Messiah and the concept of the Resurrection at the End of Time. This is when Existence is re-absorbed into the Godhead after a final Day of Judgement on humanity’s performance. The role of the Messiah was later seen as the title of whoever occupied a particular place in the chain of enlightened individuals. There would always be such a person incarnate throughout history. Known as the Axis of the Age, the Messiah was the connection between those on Earth and the Great Holy Council in the upper Worlds. (Halevi: A Kabbalistic View of History, Kabbalah Society, 2012, p. 88).

Moreover, in the book Adam and the Kabbalistic TreeHalevi gives examples of Initiates who fulfilled the role of the Messiah during the ages:

While to us natural men, such a highly conscious self is at least cosmic, it is in fact less than half-way up the complete Jacob’s ladder of the four interleaved Trees that compose manifestation. From this we can see why Christ might be called the ‘Son of God’, as would any man attaining this level deserves to be called. As has been said, more than several men have, during the history of mankind, reached this point and they are known to the Kabbalistic tradition as ‘Messiahs’ or the ‘Annointed’. This title applies to anyone reaching the Tiferet of the beriatic World and could be ascribed to Zoroaster, Hermes-Trismegestus, Enoch and many lesser known and unknown human beings who have returned to help save mankind from its ignorance at certain crucial periods of development. (Halevi, Adam and the Kabbalistic Tree, Samuel Weiser, INC, 1974, p. 312)

In another Kabbalistic source, the web site Work of the Chariot, there is rich information about the Kabbalah in general and the function of the Messiah in particular. It describes various concepts of the essence of Messiah and this is why I would quote quite big excerpt from this web site about different views of the Messiah. This show again and again how sensitive and delicate is the concept of Messiah:

In all mystical traditions, the concept of Messiah and messianic appearances in the Lower Worlds is the pinnacle of all mysteries, unparalleled in its sublimeness, inscrutability, and controversy. Messiahs come as World Teachers when righteousness fades, and the message of the absolute unity of existence and the primacy of unconditional love, discrimination, and renunciation as a means to intimately know God becomes obscurated by the conditioned impressions of conventional religions. Such extraordinary beings remind us in a lively way of our innate divinity and of the spiritual awakening that is our birthright….

Sometimes, Messiahs “wind the clocks” i.e. lead the transition from one Age to another, or vanquish powerful demons that threaten the stability of the Small Face universe. Some Messiahs appear to be completely or partially veiled from awareness of their true identity until awakened to it by a Perfect Master who has incarnated to do so, or through a supra-conscious experience of the Divine. Master Mosheh was dramatically changed by his experience of the “Burning Bush.” … The Perfect Master John baptized Master Yeshuvah in the Holy Spirit. The monk Totapuri struck the Bengali avatar Sri Ramakrishna in the center of his forehead with a sharp rock. It immediately sent him into a nirvikalpa samadhi that lasted for six months and culminated twelve years of intense spiritual practices, after which Ramakrishna commenced his activity as a World Teacher.

Many details found in the Torah, Peshitta (Gospels), and Apocrypha regarding the nature, lives, experiences, powers, and teachings of Master Mosheh and Master Yeshuvah find parallels in those of Messiahs in other traditions. Messianic appearances are called avatara in Sanskrit. The Hindu tradition contains beautiful and profound descriptions of the life dramas and teachings of the ten incarnations of Vishnu, including Rama, Krishna, Narasimha (lit. Man-Lion), and Matsya (the Fish, who is said to have appeared to Noah during the Flood). Hindus also ascribe messianic stature to Chaitanya (sixteenth century CE), Ramakrishna (1836-1886), Shirdi Sai Baba (d.1918) and Satya Sai Baba (1925-present). They assign such status as well as to incarnations of the Divine Mother i.e. the Goddess, such as Saradamani Devi (1853-1920), Anandamayi Ma (1896-1982), Amritanandamayi Ma (1953-present, known widely as “Ammachi”), and others. Buddhism provides detailed descriptions of the incarnations of the Buddha, and of the one to come called Maitreya. The sage Lao Tze, to whom is ascribed the Tao-Te Ching, was the revered divine incarnation who sired the development of Taoism. And Zoroaster was the messianic wellspring who transmitted the Zend Avesta and originated the tradition passed down through the Farsis. (Source:http://www.workofthechariot.com/TextFiles/Teachings-IntroTree.html)

Obviously, the essence and the Personifications of the Messiah are a very complex and sensitive theme. Nevertheless, when I received the vision of the Heavenly Jerusalem with its twelve Gates, I experienced as Light of Messiah as the Light of all great Divine Masters, together with their Feminine Partners, who linked with the Divine Origin of Creation and brought a new impulse for the evolution of humankind in any particular historical epoch. This “Integral Pentecost” is a colossal Messianic Light which leads the followers of all world religions, in one or another way, to the Heavenly Jerusalem.

Z’ev ben Simon Halevi in his book A Kabbalistic Universestates that the role of Messiah is part of a long line stretching back to Enoch and through Abraham, Buddha, Zoroaster and many great teachers. Now, after the end of the Indo-European cycle, this whole Messianic Line is activated in order to facilitate the quantum leap of humankind to the new Cosmic cycle of evolution. It is well known that at the end of every cosmic cycle the CREATOR opens the Books of records of everything that happened and integrates all the past into one single wholeness. Therefore, in it the Messianic line is activated as well and forms the Apocalyptic Light of the Integral Messiah. Obviously, many advanced human souls will be able to merge with this Light and help humankind on the Journey to the Higher Worlds. As the Light of Messiah is an integrative one, thus the channelling of this Light on Earth is a collective action too.

In the following Posts I will share some personal and transpersonal connections with the Divine Masters and Personifications of the Divine Feminine and how we could contribute to the Journey to the Heavenly Jerusalem led by the Light of the Integral Messiah. Of course, I would be delighted if we form the initial group which could channel this Light and enthuse many more people on the Journey!

Christians Anoint Young Rabbi as ‘False Messiah’

Misunderstanding by end-times prophecy-watchers leads many to believe that the tribulation is at hand

By Israel Today Staff |  May 6, 2021  | Topics: CHRISTIANSMessiah

The Yanuka, Shlomo Yehuda Be’eri, also being called 'Jizkiyahu Ben David'
Photo: YouTube screenshot

We have received a lot of inquiries in recent weeks regarding “reports” that the Orthodox Jewish community in Israel has anointed the Messiah, which for Christians would mean a false messiah.

We say “reports” in quotation marks because this story appears nowhere in the Israeli media, not even in Orthodox Jewish news outlets that are almost as eager as their Christian counterparts to address this topic. Kind of strange if indeed a consensus had been reached in the Orthodox community regarding the identity of the Messiah.

Still, dedicated as we are to getting to the bottom of the story, we reached out to Orthodox Jewish contacts here in Jerusalem to ask what they knew. Not only had none of them heard about a messianic anointing, most were entirely unfamiliar with the young rabbi at the center of the claims, Shlomo Yehudah Be’eri.

Keen to identify the anti-Christ in order to confirm that we are in the very last of last days, the fact is that far more Christians than Jews seek to crown this man as “messiah.”

So what’s the deal?

Last month, some Spanish-language Christian channels on YouTube began circulating a video clip of young Rabbi Shlomo Yehudah arriving at the Western Wall, where he was greeted with great reverence by more senior rabbis and a throng of Orthodox Jews.

Why Spanish-speaking Christians? Well, the clip of the young rabbi would likely have never been known to the Christian world without first being referenced by a Spanish-language Orthodox Jewish channel that’s apparently being monitored by Christians.

The “Punto Breslev” channel had posted a video suggesting that the Corona crisis could be leading to the revelation of the Messiah. To illustrate the religious fervor gripping much of Israel these days, the host of “Punto Breslev” showed the clip of Rabbi Shlomo Yehudah arriving at the Western Wall.

The topic of the segment, together with the images of Shlomo Yehudah being so honored by senior rabbis, led some Christian viewers to conclude that he was being anointed as Messiah.

The “Punto Breslev” segment went on to talk about Orthodox Judaism’s reverence for King Hezekiah, Son of David (Hizkiyahu Ben David in Hebrew) as the prototype for any messianic candidate. Some Christian viewers again got their wires crossed and attached the name to Shlomo Yehudah. As the story spread among the broader Christian world, the Spanish transliteration of that name stuck, and numerous videos and articles were posted referring to the young rabbi as “Jizkiyahu Ben David.”

What’s really going on?

First of all, this young rabbi’s name is not Jizkiyahu Ben David or Jiziahu or any other spelling being used out there. Nor is anyone in Israel calling him that.

What’s with the title “Yanuka”? Rabbi Shlomo Yehudah Be’eri does appear to be a genuine prodigy with the ability to recite the Torah and other religious Jewish texts by heart. He’s been doing this since he was a child, making him highly esteemed in certain Orthodox circles. This is where he got the label “Yanuka” that’s also appearing in all the Christian videos and articles. In this context the term is analogous to “child prodigy,” though it’s a little outdated since Shlomo Yehudah is no longer a child.

Being a prodigy can lead to great popularity and fame, affording “rock star” status, if you will, but it doesn’t make someone a messiah. And, as we noted earlier, Shlomo Yehudah’s popularity and fame doesn’t seem to extend beyond the particular stream of Orthodox Judaism to which he belongs.

And the crowds that greeted him? As for the clip of him at the Western Wall, this occurred at the annual event that begins the Counting of the Omer during the week of Passover. That’s why the holy site was so crowded. It was not a special event to honor Rabbi Shlomo Yehudah.

Why did senior rabbis fawn over him? Well, he’s a famous rabbi (again, in some circles) and a recognized prodigy. It is not at all uncommon for Orthodox Jews, even senior rabbis, to kiss the hand of and give deference to a teacher or fellow rabbi whom they respect. And among those who appeared in the above video clip, Shlomo Yehudah is greatly respected.

The host of “Punto Breslev” later released an English-language video (which we won’t link to since he also spent a great deal of time slandering Yeshua) in which he explained the misunderstanding and stressed that neither he nor any other rabbi was declaring Shlomo Yehudah Be’eri to be the Messiah. And we can confirm this to be the case, as no one in Israel (at least no one with any authority) has announced the beginning of the Messianic Age.

I do hope that this generates many comments and responses!

Celebration of Transgenderism With Drag Queen in Jewish Day School

A reader of my articles sent a piece from the Times of Israel to me.  She was very upset and even said that she believed that these are not “real” Jews.  Unfortunately, they are not only real Jews, but they represent the majority of my people.

The Jewish people, as a whole, are very liberal minded. I loved my mother very much – she died in 1999.  But I must be truthful with the reader about my mother’s ultra liberalism.

After I was born again in 1983, my mother told me that she was less upset about me believing in Jesus than she was at my becoming a Conservative thinker. These were her words:  “I can’t believe that I gave birth to a Conservative!”

She was pro- abortion, pro gay rights; pro “anything” that the Lord would consider as sin. She even defended Bill Clinton after his disgusting relationship with Lewinsky was made public.  She told me that powerful men need more sex.  I responded to her that powerful “married” men have wives for that.

Most Jews are Secular or “Reformed”

My father was raised in an Orthodox Jewish home in Boston, MA. My mother was raised in a secular Jewish home in Philadelphia.  They met in D.C. at a Jewish Community Center during WWII.  My dad adored my mom and he gave up his Orthodox traditions and beliefs for her. Isn’t it interesting that the Lord put a hunger in my father to really know Him, but not my mother?

After my parents retired to Florida, I began to witness to my dad in letters. He wrote beautiful letters back to me. He would talk about the Ten Commandments, and how proud it made him that I cared about God. He began to watch Billy Graham Crusades on TV whenever they were on.  It made my mother a little crazy!

My parents moved back to MD after my dad’s health began to fail. The Lord allowed me the privilege of leading my father to Him on the night of his death in 1997.

Breaking down stereotypes, Jewish day school to host drag queen Shabbat ceremony

Massachusetts’ Lander Grinspoon Academy will hold ‘Sparkle Havdalah’ event in recognition of ‘all sorts of family structures in our community’

The Saturday evening event at a Jewish day school in western Massachusetts will in many ways look like a typical havdalah ceremony. There will be a musical interlude marking the end of Shabbat with a traditional braided candle, grape juice and spice bags.

But the event at the Lander Grinspoon Academy in Northampton will also feature storytelling by a less typical guest: a drag queen.

The school, together with local Jewish organizations, is hosting a Jewish version of Drag Queen Story Hour, a national program in which drag entertainers read stories to children. The goal of the program, launched in San Francisco in 2015, is to give kids “glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models.”

A local drag queen, Jenayah De Rosario, will be reading “Sparkle Boy,” a book by Jewish children’s author Leslea Newman, about a young boy who likes to wear glittery clothing. Newman will be on hand to read two of her books: “Here Is the World: A Year of Jewish Holidays,” and “Heather Has Two Mommies,” which when published in 1989 drew praise and controversy for portraying a family with same-sex parents.

The event will also feature plenty of glitter, including workshops to make sparkly spice bags and crowns, a photo booth with costumes and face painting.

Amy Meltzer, the school’s director of family engagement, came up with the idea for Sparkle Havdalah: A Drag Queen Story Hour after a local library hosted a drag queen story hour organized by Newman. Meltzer, who serves in the same role for event co-sponsor Congregation B’nai Israel of Northampton, said hosting the havdalah event aligned with the values of the local Jewish community.

“We live in a community that is progressive, has many LGBTQ families and really celebrates people being themselves and not being stuck with really rigid ideas of what gender needs to look like, so it felt like a really natural fit for our community,” Meltzer told JTA.

Lander Grinspoon Academy is a non-denominational day school that welcomes children “from all Jewish traditions and backgrounds.”

The area, which includes Smith College, Mount Holyoke College and the Amherst campus of the University of Massachusetts, has a national reputation for being LGBTQ-friendly. The event is co-sponsored by a range of Jewish institutions in the area, including the school and Congregation B’nai Israel of Northampton along with Gan Keshet Preschool, Abundance Farm, PJ Library of Western Massachusetts and the Upper Pioneer Valley, and the Beit Ahavah synagogue . The Harold Grinspoon Foundation, which runs PJ Library and is headquartered in nearby Agawam, is providing funding.

In 2014, PJ library, a non-profit organization that sends free Jewish childrens’ books and CDs to families, for the first time included a book featuring LGBTQ characters: “The Purim Superhero.” However, it chose to make the book about a young boy with two fathers available by request only, rather than sending it out to all who subscribe to the service. PJ Library drew both praise and criticism from the LGBTQ community and allies — praise for including the book, criticism for treating it differently than other books.

Newman said she sees the Lander event as a step forward.

“As far as I know, besides “Purim Superhero,” there hasn’t been a [PJ Library] book that touches on issues of LGBTQ families,” she said. “I would like to think that they at some point might consider heading in that direction. I know they have a very broad constituency, and it’s hard to please everybody, so I am absolutely thrilled that they are sponsoring this event.”

The local PJ Library service welcomes a diverse group of families, including interfaith, interracial and LGBTQ families, said Rachel Hirsch Schneider, the coordinator for the PJ Library of Western Massachusetts and the Upper Pioneer Valley. The branch operates under the umbrella of the Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts.

“We have all sorts of family structures in our community, and we embrace that fully,” Hirsch Schneider told JTA, adding that she hoped to plan future events for LGBTQ families.

Meltzer wants to attract families who might not otherwise attend a Jewish event. She is expecting a large turnout and has bought craft materials for 100 children.

“People have certain stereotypes that a Jewish community might have a narrower approach to understanding gender, so it’s a message that we’re a welcoming community and an inclusive community,” Meltzer said.

She noted that the event might not be a hit everywhere.

“We know this is a good fit for our community,” she said. “I have no suggestion that every community ought to have a drag queen havdalah.” source

Brethren, most of the readers of this article are also readers of God’s Word.  I am sure that you remember that the Jewish people throughout the Word of God were called “stiff necked”  and so they were and are.  During the coming Time of Jacob’s Trouble, God will deal with His Chosen people who are unrepentant. Did you know that Tel Aviv is known as the “Gay Capital of the World?”

But don’t forget that there are more believing Jews in Israel today – more than ever before in history!  About 10% of Jews in Israel are Orthodox, and most of them live in Jerusalem. Jewish people in America are predominantly secular and do not even care for Israel.  Some of them are pro-Palestinian! I believe that this, along with the falling away of much of the church in America, will bring about the demise of our once great country.

Another Holocaust

Unbelieving Jews do not know that a Holocaust is coming that is more horrific than the one they remember from Nazi Germany.  After Antichrist sits in the Temple, and declares that he is God – the eyes of the Jewish people will be opened. Antichrist will slaughter 2/3 of Israel.  1/3 will flee to the hills.

I pray that this article falls into the hands of many unbelieving Jews. And I pray that the Lord will use this to draw many of His people to Him – and their eyes will be opened before the Rapture.

And I do believe that we are so very close to the Rapture. Those left behind will experience the most horrific time this earth will ever know:

“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be” (Matthew 24:21).

ISRAEL: Did You Know That There is a Forbidden Chapter in the Tanakh? See Here What You Have Been Missing

yeshua_talit

When I was a child growing up in the synagogue, our father would say to us:

“Jesus was a good man, and if the world would live by his teachings, it would be a better place – BUT……..He wasn’t who he said he was.”

As I thought about my fathers words, I couldn’t help but see the contradiction in terms. Good men don’t lie. So, this prompted me to search for the truth about this man, Jesus. Who was he?  What was being kept from us, if anything.

I saw the joy in the lives of Christians. I felt a sense of jealousy at their celebration of the birth of Jesus. I continued my quest for the truth.

It was after a tragedy befell my family that I met Christians who shared the Gospel with me. It was so crystal clear that this man, Jesus, loved me and had died for me.  I had found the truth and my life has never been the same.

I found out from another Jewish believer that there was a part of Scripture that I may not have seen from the Tanakh. She showed me Isaiah 53.

It has been hidden from you for centuries by rabbis who felt that they were doing the right thing.

Isn’t it time for you to see what these Scriptures say?

ISAIAH 53:

Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
He was taken from prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
And they made His grave with the wicked—
But with the rich at His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was any deceit in His mouth.
Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.

It is the prayer of my heart for my people to know that our Messiah did come, but we knew Him not.  I understand that believing that Jesus (Yeshua) is our Messiah will create many problems within your families – I know this first hand. My extended family disowned me.  It is worth losing family to come into a relationship with the Messiah, Yeshua!

Yeshua knew that we would experience these problems with our families. He said:

“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’;  and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’  He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it” (Matthew 10:34-39)

If you are convinced that Yeshua IS the Messiah of Israel, I want you to know how you can know Him and be saved:

HOW TO BE SAVED

May G-d bless you and keep you.

Shalom b’Yeshua
