CHIMERA = GAIN OF FUNCTION = GAIN OF FUNCTION FAUCI
Well, NO WONDER Fauci stepped down when he did. He may have dodged a bullet, but I am hoping that the House will bring him back and this time get enough “truth” to put his lying keister in jail!!
Anthony Fauci discussed “the outbreak and chimeras” — fragments from different viruses stitched together into a new creation — with an American scientist collaborating with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in February 2020, Freedom of Information Act documents suggest.
Previous FOIA disclosures imply that Fauci, then-director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, played an unacknowledged role in a paper concluding that COVID-19 emerged naturally.
A new preprint study, not yet peer-reviewed, found a “novel coronavirus contaminating agricultural rice RNA sequencing datasets from Wuhan, China,” whose composition suggests gain-of-function research related to Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome, caused by a coronavirus from the same family as COVID-19.
The genetic sequence shows “use of a previously unpublished HKU4 [MERS-related] reverse genetics system,” the researchers wrote, which “clearly undermine[s]” the popular argument that “SARS-CoV-2 or any potential precursors could not have been manipulated in a laboratory” because there was no “published backbone closely related” to it.
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) and Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Chair Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio) on Monday called on the DOE, FBI and State Department to share what they know about COVID origins.
Paul Thacker, who formerly investigated financial ties between physicians and pharmaceutical companies for the Senate Finance Committee, said he was told the DOE reaffirmation was based on a classified report by its Los Alamos lab, whose duties include pandemic preparedness. He declined to share more information with Just the News.

Now that the U.S. Department of Energy has joined FBI in concluding that the coronavirus likely leaked from a lab, it’s worth remembering that the media, en masse, condemned the lab leak theory as a “debunked conspiracy theory,” and Facebook censored people who dared suggest it pic.twitter.com/RuT0w0SgpV
While the new report gives “low” confidence for DOE’s conclusion about COVID’s origin, that refers to the number of sources on which it relied, not the agency’s confidence in them, according to Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.), a fellow doctor derided as a “moron” by Fauci. (The FBI’s confidence was reportedly “moderate.”)
Marshall’s view was backed by public health watchdog U.S. Right to Know, whose FOIA requests revealed a National Institutes of Health staffer deleted genetic sequences from NIH’s Sequence Read Archive at a Chinese researcher’s request in March 2020. NIH tried to hide both their identities after the fact.
All that is needed to start a bipartisan investigation of the origins of COVID-19 in the US Senate is the assent of the Chair of the Senate Health Committee (Sen. Bernie Sanders) and/or the Chair of the Senate Homeland Security Committee (Sen. Gary Peters). https://t.co/zhS0cUDG07
In a report last week, USRTK said it found the “chimeras” conversation with Fauci buried in a 1,611-page FOIA production. It’s mentioned in a Feb. 18, 2020 Slack conversation between two coronavirus researchers, the University of Maryland’s Matthew Frieman and University of Texas Medical Branch’s Vineet Menachery.
“He said he sat in Fauci’s office talking about the outbreak and chimeras,” Frieman wrote. “I joked about his link to WIV, he wasn’t amused.” That meeting took place Feb. 11, 2020, according to Fauci’s official calendar obtained by Open the Books.
Baric and NIAID did not respond to Just the News requests to elaborate on the contents of the reported conversation with Fauci. Deborah Kotz, senior director of media relations for the University of Maryland School of Medicine, said Frieman declined to comment.
A new email gives a glimpse into a 2020 meeting between Fauci and an American virologist who worked with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
It suggests Fauci didn't disclose the depth of his concerns about the lab leak theory in the pandemic's early days.https://t.co/GeRqpw1LGa
The new preprint concerns the surprise discovery of a novel coronavirus in a “rice sequencing study” by Huazhong Agricultural University, published in NIH’s Sequence Read Archive.
Analyzing the “complete viral genome sequence,” the researchers found it was “98.38% identical” to a known bat coronavirus but this one has a novel spike protein that likely binds to the same receptor as the MERS coronavirus.
“We further identified that the novel HKU4-related coronavirus genome has been inserted into a bacterial artificial chromosome [BAC] in a format consistent with previously published coronavirus infectious clones,” they wrote. The MERS-CoV spike was “very likely substituted into the novel HKU4-related CoV backbone … indicative of enhanced potential pandemic pathogen (gain-of-function) research.
Just to provide more details, WIV and EcoHealth generated multiple MERS-HKU4 chimeras in 2019:
"we constructed the full-length infectious cone of MERS-CoV and replaced the RBD of MERS-CoV with the RBDs of various strains of HKU4-related coronaviruses"https://t.co/21m7U8hDpXpic.twitter.com/hM9jPHIEdK
USRTK bioengineering scientist Karolina Corin put the paper in layman’s terms and explained its significance for COVID origins, including “potential biosafety issues” related to how the coronavirus was discovered.
“MERS is generally a BL3 level agent,” she wrote in a tweet thread, referring to the minimum security level for research on high-risk airborne infectious agents. “Rice is not. The status of the detected viruses is unknown, but the contamination certainly raises questions.”
“allowing researchers to genetically modify their virus, make an infectious clone of that virus, and test properties of that infectious clone, such as how well it can enter human cells or infect humanized mice.”
The “proximal origin” natural explanation embraced by scientists including Fauci relies on the dubious “assumption that coronavirus researchers published everything they knew about bat coronaviruses by 2020,” he wrote. Source

Musk tweeted ‘My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci’ which was met by 1.1m likes
Fauci has long been under intense criticism over his handling of the pandemic
The 81-year-old stepped down last month after a mega 54-year stint at the NIH
Anthony Fauci claimed today that his safety is at increasing risk after Elon Musk called for him to be prosecuted and accused him of indirectly starting the Covid pandemic.
In an interview with the scientific journal Nature, America’s top infectious disease doctor, 81, said comments like Musk’s ‘stirs a lot of hate in people’ and were the reason he has ‘armed federal agents with me all the time’.
Musk — who was accused of defamation last year after calling a Thai cave hero diver a ‘pedo’ — initially targeted Dr Fauci in a tweet in the early hours of Sunday that said, ‘My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci.’
He appeared to be mocking the left-wing embracement of gender identity while alluding to Fauci’s involvement in controversial Chinese research at the center of questions about Covid’s origin.
Elon later shared a meme depicting a scene from the Lord of the Rings edited to show Fauci telling Biden ‘just one more lockdown, my king’. The tweet received over half a million likes
He later shared a meme depicting a scene from the Lord of the Rings edited to show Fauci telling Biden ‘just one more lockdown, my king’ before accusing Fauci of ‘lying to Congress’ and funding ‘gain-of-function research that killed millions of people’.
Asked about the tweets in an interview with Nature this morning, Dr Fauci said: ‘I don’t pay attention to that… and I don’t even feel I need to respond.
‘…A lot of that stuff is just a cesspool of misinformation, and I don’t waste a minute worrying about it.’
Asked whether his safety was at risk, Dr Fauci added: ‘Of course it’s at risk, that’s why I have armed federal agents with me all the time.
‘[Musk’s tweet] stirs a lot of hate in people who have no idea why they’re hating; they’re hating because somebody [famous] is tweeting about it.’
While initially a revered figure, Dr Fauci has come under intense criticism over his handling of the pandemic and his initial denial of the ‘lab leak theory’.
Dr Fauci publicly quashed discussion about Covid’s origin and virus-tinkering experiments at the Wuhan lab in the epicenter of the pandemic – even though privately he expressed concern the virus was unleashed in an experiment-gone-wrong.
It emerged in May 2021 that, under his watch, the Government’s infectious disease research body designated money to that lab and sponsored bat coronavirus research years before the pandemic happened.
On May 11 2021, Dr Fauci and Rand Paul, senator for Kentucky, sparred over how a US funding grant was spent.
Paul insisted that the money was being used for gain of function research – while Dr Fauci insisted it was not.
‘You are entirely and completely incorrect,’ Dr Fauci told Paul at the heated hearing.
He added: ‘The NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute.’
Exactly what constitutes gain-of-function has been debated during the pandemic, but the experiments involve manipulating viruses to make them more severe or transmissible, with the hope of getting ahead of future mutations and outbreaks.
MORE TEARS………..
Dr Fauci then appeared before a Congressional budget committee on May 25 of last yearand defended allocating $600,000 to a group called EcoHealth Alliance, which then paid the Wuhan Institute of Virology to study the risk that bat coronaviruses could infect humans.
He said: ‘I would have been almost a dereliction of our duty if we didn’t study this, and the only way you can study these things is you’ve got to go where the action is.
‘You don’t want to study bats in Fairfax County, Virginia, to find out what the animal-human interface is that might lead to a jumping of species.
Countries with the laxest rules governing laboratories that house the world’s most dangerous pathogens were today named and shamed.
Saudi Arabia, Gabon, and Cote d’Ivoire came bottom of the pile in terms of safety standards inside Biosaftey Level 4 labs, secretive sites which often harbor pathogens like smallpox, Ebola and Lassa fever.
Canada, the US, Australia and the UK had some of the best standards overall, according to infectious disease experts who ranked all known facilities across the world.
China, however, ranked middle of the pile overall.
Yet when it came to dual research, a branch of experiments that can include ‘gain of function’ – which carries the risk of making pathogens more deadly, it scored zero out of 100.
‘So we had a modest collaboration with very respectable Chinese scientists who were world experts on coronavirus, and we did that through a sub-grant from a larger grant to EcoHealth.’
He added: ‘The larger grant was about $600,000 over a period of five years. So it was a modest amount. The purpose of it was to study the animal-human interface, to do surveillance and to determine if these bat viruses were even capable of [infecting humans].’
Files obtained by The Intercept as part of an FOIA request to drill down the possible root of Covid and whether the US had any role in it cast further doubt about whether the money allocated to the Wuhan lab constituted as gain of function.
Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist at Rutgers University, said: ‘The documents make it clear that assertions by the NIH Director, Francis Collins, and the NIAID Director, Anthony Fauci, that the NIH did not support gain-of-function research or potential pandemic pathogen enhancement at WIV are untruthful.’
Dr Ebright, who studied the papers, said the scientists ‘combined a spike gene from one coronavirus with genetic information from another coronavirus and confirmed the resulting viruses could infect human cells’.
Questions still remain about the origins of Covid. Reporters asking questions about the topic at Dr Fauci’s farewell speech were shut down by White House staff.
Dr Fauci made his final appearance in the official briefing room last month, following a mega 54-year stint at the NIH.
Since Musk bought Twitter in October, he has raged a war on what he termed ‘the woke mind virus’, and sacked many former Twitter employees.
He has reinstated Trump on the website along with many others, who were originally banned for their extreme views.
He also exposed how the FBI leaned on the platform to remove key figures from the site.
Where were the ARMED AGENTS to protect the elderly in nursing homes who ultimately died?
Where were the ARMED AGENTS when people desperately wanted to take Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine but were told the lie that those were toxic and then these people died from Covid?
FAUCI – YOU SHOULD BE TRIED AND COVICTED FOR BEING THE SERIAL KILLER THAT YOU ARE!
YOU SHOULD BE TRIED AND FOUND GUILTY OF PERGURING YOURSELF IN FRONT OF CONGRESS. YOU SWORE YOU NEVER TOOK PART IN GAIN-OF-FUNCTION RESEARCH. YOU DID AND GOD KNOWS YOU DID!
The BLOOD of every healthy person who died suddenly after getting the experimental vaccine IS ON YOUR HANDS FAUCI!!
HERE IS A SCRIPTURE JUST FOR YOU ANTHONY FAUCI:
“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew 10:28).

(Official White House photo by Tia Dufour)
Testifying Wednesday before the Senate, a prominent health scientist charged that Dr. Anthony Fauci and other federal health officials have repeatedly lied to Congress about the government’s funding of gain-of-function research in China, which is believed by many experts to be the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Richard Ebright, a professor of molecular biology at Rutgers University, said statements “made on repeated occasions to the public, to the press and to policymakers by the NIAID director, Dr. Fauci, have been untruthful.”
“I do not understand why those statements are being made because they are demonstrably false,” he said.
The hearing, “Revisiting Gain-of-Function Research: What the Pandemic Taught Us and Where Do We Go From Here,” was held by the Senate Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Spending Oversight.
Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., the panel’s ranking member, has sparred over the issue in numerous Senate hearings with Fauci, who has insisted the NIH has not funded gain-of-function research in China despite evidence to the contrary.
Ebright was among the 16 scientists who authored a letter published last September in the prestigious British science journal The Lancet calling for another look at the evidence that the pandemic began with a lab leak. The scientists condemned a February 2020 letter organized by Wuhan lab collaborator Peter Daszak marginalizing anyone who entertained the lab-leak theory as a conspiracist. Ebright and his 15 colleagues said Daszak’s letter and a subsequent missive had “a silencing effect on the wider scientific debate, including among science journalists.” Fauci received an email from Daszak at the time thanking the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases director for supporting him on his dismissal of the lab-leak theory.
In his testimony Wednesday, Ebright argued that research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology funded by the National Institutes of Health to increase the lethality and transmissibility of bat coronaviruses fits the definition of gain-of-function research.
“Gain-of-function research of concern involves the creation of new health threats – health threats that did not exist previously and that might not have come to exist by natural means for tens, hundreds, thousands or tens of thousands of years,” Ebright said.
In an exchange with Paul during a Senate hearing in May 2021, Fauci stated emphatically that the NIH “has not ever and does not now fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.” Source
Are so many people being threatened to remain silent when they know what Fauci did? Are their families being threatened, or perhaps it is the “Love of money” that is the root of all evil?
I always come back to these two possibilities (being threatened or bribed) because our government knows that Fauci is EVIL and is responsible for Covid and probably for many other illnesses – past and future.
And if our government does not fire this monster – God only knows what kind of horrific disease is going to be responsible for the death of millions of people in the near future.
Background: Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine have been found to be efficient on SARS-CoV-2, and reported to be efficient in Chinese COV-19 patients. We evaluate the effect of hydroxychloroquine on respiratory viral loads.
Patients and methods: French Confirmed COVID-19 patients were included in a single arm protocol from early March to March 16th, to receive 600mg of hydroxychloroquine daily and their viral load in nasopharyngeal swabs was tested daily in a hospital setting. Depending on their clinical presentation, azithromycin was added to the treatment. Untreated patients from another center and cases refusing the protocol were included as negative controls. Presence and absence of virus at Day6-post inclusion was considered the end point.
Results: Six patients were asymptomatic, 22 had upper respiratory tract infection symptoms and eight had lower respiratory tract infection symptoms. Twenty cases were treated in this study and showed a significant reduction of the viral carriage at D6-post inclusion compared to controls, and much lower average carrying duration than reported in the litterature for untreated patients. Azithromycin added to hydroxychloroquine was significantly more efficient for virus elimination.
Conclusion: Despite its small sample size, our survey shows that hydroxychloroquine treatment is significantly associated with viral load reduction/disappearance in COVID-19 patients and its effect is reinforced by azithromycin. (emphasis added)
Dr. Anthony Fauci, whose “expert” advice to President Trump has resulted in the complete shutdown of the greatest economic engine in world history, has known since 2005 that chloroquine is an effective inhibitor of coronaviruses.
How did he know this? Because of research done by the National Institutes of Health, of which he is the director. In connection with the SARS outbreak – caused by a coronavirus dubbed SARS- CoV – the NIH researched chloroquine and concluded that it was effective at stopping the SARS coronavirus in its tracks. The COVID-19 bug is likewise a coronavirus, labeled SARS-CoV-2. While not exactly the same virus as SARS-CoV-1, it is genetically related to it, and shares 79% of its genome, as the name SARS-CoV-2 implies. They both use the same host cell receptor, which is what viruses use to gain entry to the cell and infect the victim.
The Virology Journal – the official publication of Dr. Fauci’s National Institutes of Health – published what is now a blockbuster article on August 22, 2005, under the heading – get ready for this – “Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread.” (Emphasis mine throughout.) Write the researchers, “We report…that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage.”
This means, of course, that Dr. Fauci (pictured at right) has known for 15 years that chloroquine and it’s even milder derivative hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) will not only treat a current case of coronavirus (“therapeutic”) but prevent future cases (“prophylactic”). So HCQ functions as both a cure and a vaccine. In other words, it’s a wonder drug for coronavirus. Said Dr. Fauci’s NIH in 2005, “concentrations of 10 μM completely abolished SARS-CoV infection.” Fauci’s researchers add, “chloroquine can effectively reduce the establishment of infection and spread of SARS-CoV.”
Dr. Didier Raoult, the Anthony Fauci of France, had such spectacular success using HCQ to treat victims of SARS-CoV-2 that he said way back on February 25 that “it’s game over” for coronavirus.
He and a team of researchers reported that the use of HCQ administered with both azithromycin and zinc cured 79 of 80 patients with only “rare and minor” adverse events. “In conclusion,” these researchers write, “we confirm the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine associated with azithromycin in the treatment of COVID-19 and its potential effectiveness in the early impairment of contagiousness.”
The highly-publicized VA study that purported to show HCQ was ineffective showed nothing of the sort. HCQ wasn’t administered until the patients were virtually on their deathbeds when research indicates it should be prescribed as soon as symptoms are apparent. Plus, HCQ was administered without azithromycin and zinc, which form the cocktail that makes it supremely effective. At-risk individuals need to receive the HCQ cocktail at the first sign of symptoms.
But Governor Andrew Cuomo banned the use of HCQ in the entire state of New York on March 6, the Democrat governors of Nevada and Michigan soon followed suit, and by March 28 the whole country was under incarceration-in-place fatwas.
Nothing happened with regard to the use of HCQ in the U.S. until March 20, when President Trump put his foot down and insisted that the FDA consider authorizing HCQ for off-label use to treat SARS-CoV-2.
On March 23, Dr. Vladimir Zelenko reported that he had treated around 500 coronavirus patients with HCQ and had seen an astonishing 100% success rate. That’s not the “anecdotal” evidence Dr. Fauci sneers at, but actual results with real patients in clinical settings.
“Since last Thursday, my team has treated approximately 350 patients in Kiryas Joel and another 150 patients in other areas of New York with the above regimen. Of this group and the information provided to me by affiliated medical teams, we have had ZERO deaths, ZERO hospitalizations, and ZERO intubations. In addition, I have not heard of any negative side effects other than approximately 10% of patients with temporary nausea and diarrhea.”
“If you scale this nationally, the economy will rebound much quicker. The country will open again. And let me tell you a very important point. This treatment costs about $20. That’s very important because you can scale that nationally. If every treatment costs $20,000, that’s not so good.
All I’m doing is repurposing old, available drugs which we know their safety profiles, and using them in a unique combination in an outpatient setting.”
The questions are disturbing to a spectacular degree. If Dr. Fauci has known since 2005 of the effectiveness of HCQ, why hasn’t it been administered immediately after people show symptoms, as Dr. Zelenko has done? Maybe then nobody would have died and nobody would have been incarcerated in place except the sick, which is who a quarantine is for in the first place. To paraphrase Jesus, it’s not the symptom-free who need HCQ but the sick. And they need it at the first sign of symptoms.
While the regressive health care establishment wants the HCQ cocktail to only be administered late in the course of the infection, from a medical standpoint, this is stupid. Said one doctor, “As a physician, this baffles me. I can’t think of a single infectious condition — bacterial, fungal, or viral — where the best medical treatment is to delay the use of an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, or anti-viral until the infection is far advanced.”
So why has Dr. Fauci minimized and dismissed HCQ at every turn instead of pushing this thing from jump street? He didn’t even launch clinical trials of HCQ until April 9, by which time 33,000 people had died.
This may be why: “Chloroquine, a relatively safe, effective and cheap drug used for treating many human diseases…is effective in inhibiting the infection and spread of SARS CoV.” That’s the problem. It is safe, inexpensive, and it works – in other words, there’s nothing sexy or avant-garde about HCQ. It’s been around since 1934.
Given human nature, it’s possible, even likely, that those who are chasing the unicorn of a coronavirus vaccine are doing so for reasons other than human health. I can’t see into anybody’s heart, and can’t presume to know their motives, but on the other hand, human nature recognizes that there’s no glory in pushing HCQ, and nobody is going to get anything named for him in the history books. The polio vaccine was developed by Jonas Salk in 1954, and it is still known as the “Salk vaccine.” There will be no “Fauci vaccine” if HCQ is the answer to the problem.
So while Dr. Fauci is tut-tutting and pooh-poohing HCQ, Dr. Raoult and Dr. Zelensky are out there saving lives at $20 a pop. Maybe we should spend more time listening to them than the wizards-of-smart bureaucrats the Talking Snake Media fawns over.
Dr. Fauci is regarded by the Talking Snake Media as the Oracle at Delphi. The entire nation hangs on his every word. But if nobody is dying and nobody is locked down, his 15 minutes of fame fades to zero. Very few people are not going to be influenced by that prospect, especially when it’s easy to keep the attention of the public by continuing to feed the panic.
It should not be overlooked that there is no money in HCQ for Big Pharma since HCQ is a generic that can be manufactured so cheaply there is little profit margin in it. On the other hand, the payday for a vaccine will literally be off-the-charts. Who knows what kind of behind-the-scenes pressure is being put on Fauci and others in the health care establishment?
There is a monstrous reputational risk for those who will be found to have dismissively waved off a treatment that could have been used from the very beginning, even back on February 15 when Dr. Fauci said that the risk from Coronavirus was “minuscule.” How many lives could have been saved if the heads of our multi-billion dollar health care bureaucracy had been advocating for HCQ treatment from day one? We’ll never know. Instead, their advice has been dangerous and deadly in every sense of that word.
Someday – maybe even today – we will be able to identify the individuals who had the knowledge and expertise to make a global difference, but turned up their noses at the solution when it could have made all the difference in the world.

Check out NIH from 2005
Tomorrow, I will be writing on the Gates Foundation and their relationship with Moderna Therapeutics back in January 2020. Gates paid them the first installment of $100 Million- $10 Million to work on a mDNA DNA altering vaccine for 7 billion people across the globe.
Do you realize that in January, these so-called “Health Professionals” had not declared that we had a pandemic on our hands? WHY was Gates partnering with Moderna who only makes DNA altering vaccines (mDNA) back in January???
*** Correction from OneNewsNow article. Fauci is NOT the director of NIH – he is the director of NIAID National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
