Blessed Prosperity

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” Psalms 1:1-3

Let us consider this blessed man for a moment. His faith in God is on display; it is very apparent. He believes that God is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. How do I know that? because this man is giving God his undivided attention.

If we narrow down his attention to the Law of Moses, we make a great mistake. This man would have been reading the Scriptures found in the first eight books of the Bible. He believed that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth; he believed his maker was God, and he wanted  to know Him, worship Him, and follow Him.

I don’t see a man here who is locked away in a monastery, or living in isolation on a hill or tucked away in a cave. I see a man who has a family and loves them; I see a man who provides for his family by working hard to support them, whatever that may look like. But I see a man who loves God the Father, and places Jesus Christ in his heart as Lord.

So how does this man come to delight in the law of the Lord, and meditate on it day and night? To begin with, he has been born again; he has been given a new heart that desires to follow hard after God. His new nature wants to seek after God and please Him; he wants to honor the Father and Jesus in all things, and has been given the Holy Spirit as his abiding Helper to do those very things.

The Holy Spirit will lead this man’s mind to see two things most needful to not only follow after the Lord but to grow in grace and knowledge of Him. That is, first, last and always, prayer and reading God’s word. This blessed man, working and taking care of his family, intentionally makes time for being alone with the Father in prayer—daily!

This blessed man has a hunger and thirst to know the Father and Jesus better, and more intimately. And he is quickly led to understand there is only one way: read, study and meditate, or ponder on the very word of God: the Bible—the Scriptures. Not a book about the Bible, not commentaries on the Scriptures, which some can be very helpful, but first and foremost the Bible itself; and not just randomly, but from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22.

The Lord Jesus summed it up in much fewer words than what I have written:

“It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.“ Matthew 4:4

This blessed man takes time to read God’s word daily, with the intention of learning all of what God has written and revealed about Himself and His Son Jesus Christ. And then, while he is working, or enjoying being with his family, or laying in bed, he is pondering on the wonders of his Father’s love and grace to him and his family—and as he does this, he can’t help but share the Father and Jesus with his family, friends and co-workers.

This man is blessed because he delights himself in the law of Christ; Christ dwells in his heart by faith; he is rooted and grounded in love. This man is blessed because he is convinced of this truth:

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

As he meditates on God’s word, he recognizes and refuses to walk in the counsel of the ungodly; although he loses them, he refuses to fellowship with his ungodly friends, and he walks away from those who ridicule his walk with Jesus.

This blessed man’s diligence in giving his full attention to the Lord likens him to a tree planted by a river. It’s a picture of a tree that stays healthy, green, even in times of great drought, and bears good fruit in season. And then, this blessed man is given a promise: whatever he does shall prosper.

There are many, and I’m going to call them false teachers, that lead their followers to thinking that earthly prosperity is surely a blessing from God. Earthly riches are a bait from the Devil himself to lure folks away from the true riches of what God freely offers. It makes no difference whether a man is poor, rich, or in between, the enemy likes to dangle them in front of folks, to blind them to the true wealth of God which is Christ Jesus.

Earthly prosperity is a façade, it is temporary and fleeting. Man’s life is like a vapor: he’s here today, and gone tomorrow. Men sweat and toil, scheme and work all their life to possess some of this world’s goods, only to realize that when the sun sets on their last day here on earth, they all, rich and poor alike, will occupy a very small piece of real estate in the cemetery.

“…Whatever he does shall prosper.” The Lord promises the blessed man a prosperity that is not only rich beyond compare, but is everlasting and is tucked away safely in heaven: it’s an, “…inheritance that is incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.” 1 peter 1:4

The blessed man who delights in the law of the Lord does also enjoy a heavenly prosperity while here on earth. As he fills his mind with the word of Christ, and sets his affections and hopes on Christ, he discovers a true and lasting prosperity that the world can’t give him, and that the world can’t take away.

All that this world has to offer can’t compare with the love, peace and joy that fills a man who is abiding in Christ. This is heaven’s blessed prosperity!

South Korea Detains Americans Trying to Send Food, Bibles to North Korea

From breitbart.com

South Korean police detained six Americans on Friday caught with over 1,000 bottles carrying rice, Bibles, and American money that they reportedly intended to send across the sea to North Korea.

The incident is the largest scale of its kind in years, since leftist former President Moon Jae-in began cracking down on missionary activities targeting the repressive communist state as part of its campaign to ingratiate Seoul with the rogue regime. While Moon’s successor, Yoon Suk-yeol, was a hardline conservative during his term, he did not lift many of the restrictions imposed on individuals seeking to send political leaflets, religious material, or humanitarian aid towards Pyongyang.

Yoon was recently impeached following an attempt to impose martial law in December and replaced this month by the winner of a special election, currently President Lee Jae-myung, another leftist who has promised to increase engagement attempts with the North.

According to the South’s Korea JoongAng Daily, the six Americans were found carrying over 1,300 plastic bottles filled with rice, Bibles, USB sticks featuring foreign media banned in North Korea, and American money and admitted to engaging in missionary work. Missionaries often use plastic bottles in this manner as they float and easily travel across the sea via currents into rural, impoverished areas of the North.

Authorities did not name the individuals in question, identifying them only as men “in their 20s to 50s” who had entered the country two to three months ago with American passports and did not speak fluent Korean. Authorities stated that they did not have and would not pursue an arrest warrant for the men, according to the South Korean news agency Yonhap, as the activities the men were engaging in did not rise to the level of public security threats meriting an arrest. South Korean maintains exceptionally positive relations with the United States and, following an especially volatile six months in which five presidents took helm of the country, its government is likely to consider aggressive law enforcement action against American missionaries needlessly aggravating of a delicate situation.

“We’re going to release them as we believe the situation does not call for requesting an arrest warrant, and we plan to continue investigating them without physical detention,” Yonhap quoted an unnamed police official as saying.

Their activities took place on an island in Incheon which the South Korean government had designated a restricted area. South Korean authorities have limited such activities in the past throughout the country due to the possibility of creating national security risks and designated Ganghwa County, Incheon, as an especially “high-risk” area for similar ocean launches in November.

According to JoongAng, while the individuals in question will not be arrested, police are planning to charge them for violating laws against “potentially destabilizing activities in designated restricted zones.”

Prior to falling under communism in the mid-20th century, North Korea was home to one of the largest Christian populations on Earth and its capital, Pyongyang, was known as the “Jerusalem of the East.” Following the founding of communist North Korea by Kim Il-sung, grandfather of current dictator Kim Jong-un, Christianity was swiftly outlawed and citizens were forced to worship the Kim family as gods. To this day, owning or being caught within the vicinity of a copy of the Bible is illegal; Christians are regularly executedfor their faith and families forced into labor camps for generations as punishment for believing in Jesus.

Despite this, the faith persists in secret in the country — and defectors who have escaped the country, many of them Christians, have for years attempted to help Christians continue to worship under the brutal Kim regime.

American and Korean-American activists have long also played a role in this community, helping efforts to spread Christianity and share critical humanitarian aid with the starving populace. Among the most famous cases of American Christian missionaries imprisoned for their work is that of Kenneth Bae, who was held hostage for over 700 days and tortured by the North Korean regime for spreading the faith in the country. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2013 but released as part of negotiations with the United States a year later.

Less direct attempts to engage in military work within North Korea have for years featured attempts to float humanitarian aid and Christian materials into the country via sea. In 2018, Kim Yong Hwa, the head of the North Korea Refugees Human Rights Association of Korea, described overseeing dozens of rice bottle operations and estimating that they had successfully dispatched 60 tons of rice to the victims of Pyongyang. Similar groups sending rice dispatches in 2021 described the practice of “holy rice,” saving servings of rice from their dinner to share with the poor, as informing the practice.

President Moon, who visited North Korea on multiple occasions and advocated for friendship with the repressive communists, implemented policies to curtail missionary and humanitarian activity aiding North Koreans in response to the regime’s aggressive condemnation of these acts. In 2020, the South Korean government prevented Voice of the Martyrs Korea, an advocacy group, from floating an estimated 500 bottles into South Korea carrying Bibles and rice, outraging international human rights advocates.

Yoon did not lift the Moon-era restrictions, but activists managed to flaunt the policies with minimal pushback from the South Korean government in 2023, organizing a Christmas bottle launch featuring USB flash drives full of Christmas content and Biblical content to the North.

On Friday, Yonhap reported that current President Lee has already begun implementing measures to block leaflet drops to North Korea. Lee took office on June 4, vowing after his inauguration to pursue dialogue with North Korea.

“We will open channels of communication and pursue dialogue and cooperation with the North to build lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula,” he promised.

I remembered when South Korea would pray for us. Brethren, WE need to pray for them!

BOMBSHELL VIDEO: BIBI PREDICTED WHAT JUST HAPPENED WITH IRAN AND THE WEST OVER 40 YEARS AGO

From israelunwired.com

There has never been a modern-day politician who has been as laser-focused on one issue as Bibi Netanyahu has been on the Iranian threat to Israel and the Western world. The ideas that are now accepted across the entire Western world were brought there by Netanyahu back when he was a young budding eloquent politician in his early 30’s.

Nobody can claim that Netanyahu did not speak clearly about the issue. If anything, the one thing that surprised people was that he was actually willing to pull the trigger, following decades of threatening and NOT pulling the trigger against Iran. But when push came to shove, it was Israel’s existence that was at stake, and Netanyahu, a true student of history, the son of a first-rate historian, was not going to wimp out.

He learned the lessons of modern history and now has been privileged to write his chapter in the annals of modern Israeli history as a great leader who stood up when he needed to and confronted terror head-on. The 12 days in June will be turned into a movie, and Donald Trump will be a star in the movie as will the F-16 pilots. But, ultimately, the bravery of Bibi will be the main story. He gave the order that mean there would be no turning back, and that is what lead to events that unfolded. The world is safer in a fundamental way because of the clear-minded and brave decisions of Bibi Netanyahu.

We must keep praying and most of all we must understand that the Word of God (Bible Prophecy) will be fulfilled! Israel ultimately does stand alone!

FORMER MOSSAD AGENT REVEALS ISRAEL’S TOP MISSIONS THAT COMPLETELY STUNNED THE WORLD

From Israelunwired.com

The Mossad is, by design, a shadowy organization that has pulled off some of the most impressive operations in modern history. Since it takes many chances in all kinds of risky situations, it naturally has it’s share of failures too.

Perhaps the most impressive of all of it’s activities in recent years has been the remarkable beeper operation against the Hizbullah. It single-handedly decapitated nearly the entire leadership of the Hizbullah, without barely harming anyone else, in one fell swoop. Even more remarkable, it did not kill most of the operatives – it left them labeled as former Hizbullah operatives with facial scars and missing limbs. They walk and limp around Lebanon as a constant reminder of the Mossad’s power.  This is in order to instill fear in potential terrorists in the future. It also means that every time a terrorist uses a phone, they are nervous that they are being listened in on.

These forms of battle sometimes require years and years of planning in order to reach a goal. The shadowy beeper business that was created in Hungary in order to supply the beepers for the Hizbullah could have easily been a waste of tens of millions of dollars if the beeper operation had been spoiled by a suspecting terrorist. The killing of Haniyeh in a foreign country shocked the entire Hamas leadership. But still, the Iranian threat was not dismantled until in one amazing day, Israel came down and killed most of the leading Iranian scientists and leaders of the Iranian Army.

Former Mossad operatives are often tempted to reveal aspects of these operations as they are able to profit handsomely from revealing state secrets. But this short film does an excellent job of revealing and yet not revealing too much. Perhaps one day we will know more about the amazing takedown of the Iranian nuclear threat in 12 days in June, 2025.
