WHEN GOD SHOWS HIS POWER

earthquakeThe news today from Nepal is grim. Who can prepare for this kind of devastation? One minute, people are going about their business, and then the earth opens and shakes so violently. Buildings crumble as if they were toy-like structures. Hundreds lose their lives under the rubble.

As Christians, we know that these things must take place:

(Mark 13:8) “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these [are] the beginnings of sorrows.”

God, who is the Creator of the Universe is in complete control. He sees our history from the beginning to the end. We only see the past and the present. As a child of God, I am so grateful that He has told me and my brothers and sisters what to expect and what to look for in these end times.

Are nations not rising against nations? Are there not earthquakes and volcanos erupting? These are the beginnings of sorrows. We watch these signs much like a meteorologist watches the signs for the weather.

The world has no idea what is happening. They believe the lie of man-made global warming, and blame everything on that. They are God-haters, not atheists. I believe that every person inherently knows that God is real. They hate Him because they love their sins. It’s not complex.

From Revelation 6:12-14

“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”

When Jesus died on the Cross:

“Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.” (Matthew 27:50-53)

Various Scriptures about earthquakes:

Luke 21:11 – And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Mark 13:8 – For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these [are] the beginnings of sorrows.

Revelation 11:13 – And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Matthew 24:7 – For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Psalms 60:2 – Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

Acts 16:26 – And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

Isaiah 24:19 – The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

Matthew 24:36 – But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Ezekiel 38:19 – For in my jealousy [and] in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

Hebrews 12:26 – Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

SO, WHAT CAN YOU DO?

The things of which I wrote are inevitable. Who can stop the will of God? But there is something that you must think about. Our lives here are short, but our soul lives on — eternally.

The same God who created the Universe, also created hell. He made hell for Satan and his demons. God wants no man or women to spend eternity in hell. He made it clear in this passage of Scripture:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

Have you believed in the only One who can save you? Have you repented and placed your trust in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins? If not, it’s not too late. If you reject God and die, you will spend eternity in a fiery hell, with torments that never cease.

Admit to God that you are a sinner. Ask Him to forgive you. Tell Him that you need Jesus in your life and your heart. He will save you.

And the angels in heaven will rejoice over you!!

Are You In the Church of Laodicea?

Seeker churchI can just hear the evil one whispering to church leadership “If you would just make it more fun, more worldly…..you would attract more people. They wouldn’t even feel like they’re in church!”

And so goes the slippery slope in the Seeker Sensitive churches. The Word of God becomes obscure — almost obsolete. Surely people know how to pack their church pews, right? They make sure that the name of Jesus is mentioned, at least a few times. But the main thing is that everyone has a good time. After all, we want them to come back!

Why not throw in some Eastern Meditation? Most of the women in the congregation attend Yoga each week anyway, so why not create a Christian form of meditation. Not the meditation of which God speaks in the Word — not filling our minds with His Word. No , no…..just emptying our minds of all noise and trouble. Maybe some visualization. Yes, you’re at the beach and you hear the birds and the waves and smell that salt air…..and then ohm ohm ohm……..

Then there is that business of God. Is He the same god as other religions worship? Well, certainly there is only one God, so He must be the same as the Muslims worship, right? We don’t want to alienate people. We want everyone to feel a part of the experience of worship. God can be called by many names, right? What does it matter…..Jehovah or Allah?

ENOUGH!!!!!

Do these people not know that their hearts are far from the Lord?

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 3:5-7)

Can these people actually believe that Jesus Christ would come to earth to die the most horrific death at the hands of wicked men, so that they could come once a week (maybe twice) to a building to socialize and have fun? Do they never read the Word of God? Has no one ever told them that they are wretched sinners, and that Jesus came to pay their sin debt? Have they not heard of repentance and placing their trust in Jesus for salvation?

When these Sunday socialites approach Jesus, they will hear the most dreaded words in the Bible:

“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matthew 7:22-23)

They will be distraught and dumbfounded. All the good deeds they did in His name. All the people they served from their church pantries. Why would He say these words to them?

SALVATION IS A GIFT
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

WE MUST BELIEVE
“For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:11-13)

CHRIST DIED FOR US
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

GOD LOVED US SO MUCH
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE US
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

WE MUST CONFESS
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE WILL NOT BE SAVED
“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” (Mark 16:16)

WE MUST ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE ARE SINNERS
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

WE MUST BE BORN AGAIN
“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” (John 3:5)

WE MUST DO GOD’S WILL
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 7:21)

What is God’s will?
“Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 22:36-40)

These Scriptures about salvation are key to our becoming children of God. They have nothing to do with how many good things we did in church.”

All of the so-called “Righteous deeds” that we have done are as filthy rags before our Lord:

“But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” (Isaiah 64:6)

So, that means that all of the things that church goers do to try to enter the Kingdom of heaven are to no avail. IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS!!

If a person has not come to the place in their life where they know that they are sinful, desperately in need of a righteous Savior (Jesus) and they have not repented of their sinful life, and have not placed their trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins, then they have not been born again. When a person comes to God with a broken spirit, and kneels before Him and confesses their need for Him — only then are they truly born again. This is truly a supernatural event!

After a person has been born again, then their good works are very important — they are the evidence of genuine salvation!

And until that takes place in the persons’ life, the Word of God will not make sense to them.

“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” (1John 2:27)

When we are truly born again, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within us. He guides us; teaches us, and leads us unto righteousness.

Have you been trying to reach God by good works? Do you notice that there is an emptiness inside of you? You are trying to do that which only God can do. He is the one who saves you.

Commit your life to Christ today. Tell him how sorry you are for your past sins. Tell him that you know that you need Him. Ask Him to come into your life and your heart and transform you into a child of God. He will do it! He waits for you.

“O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” (Psalm 34:8)

HITLER, OBAMA AND NEURO LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING

I first heard about Barack Obama from my two sons, who had heard him speak at the DNC in 2004. I had listened to some of his speech, but my sons watched the entire thing. My boys had never shown any interest in politics, so it did surprise me when they spoke of this “amazing guy” they had just heard make a speech. They went on and on about him.

In 2008, during the primary campaign, I noticed that there was something about the way that Mr. Obama spoke; something different, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Whatever it was that made me take notice, only intensified during the pre-election speeches.

There was something about Barack Obama that people found very familiar when they first heard him speak. They were right, we have seen and heard this all before.
I remember telling my husband that there was something that wasn’t normal about the way he talked. It became so oppressive to me, that I had to leave the room or turn off the TV. I knew that I did not like the man, and that I categorically disagreed with him, but not being able to even hear him was bizarre.

It absolutely shocked me when one of my sons told me that he was driving up to Philadelphia to see Obama in person. I felt sick. My children knew how I felt about this man, and they knew that his close ties to Planned Parenthood was a major factor in my dislike of him. But my son was determined to see him. I prayed that the Lord would break this power that Obama had over my boys. I had no idea that there really was a power at work, and it had to do with his voice.

I watched a video back in 2008 which exposed what Obama was doing to the masses during his speeches. I think that the Lord showed me clearly that something was happening, when I could not listen to him. The video was about an article by AAPS – Association for American Physicians and Surgeons.

AAPS has since taken the article down, no doubt as a result of pressure from Obama’s minions. But as nothing is ever lost on the Internet, we have it here to show you right now. It will be well worth your time to view it and consider what’s being said:

Now I could go into detail about NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) but you can look it up and see how powerful this covert form of hypnosis really is. But I’m thinking that this unethical technique of mental manipulation is more evil than people realize. I believe it is Satanically inspired.

Hitler was able to move the masses to hysteria in their love of him. He was successful in getting children to adore him. Remember Youth for Hitler? Liberals are enraged when we compare Obama to Hitler, but that is only because they are still in their trance – unable to see that this president is evil. Some have snapped back to reality, and are remorseful for their stupidity, but most are still glassy eyed worshipers of Obama.

Think about thoughts that come into your mind, seemingly out of nowhere, that make you sad or angry or jealous. If you are born again, you soon realize that Satan whispered lies to you. That’s his specialty. His playground is our mind. He lies and confuses and accuses.

“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” 2nd Corinthians 11:3 (KJV)

There’s the word – subtlety. It’s not a scream, or even a stern voice. It’s subtle and crafty. It’s just a “Did God really say……??” I can just imagine the evil one saying that to Eve in such a soft and gentle voice. He knew that Eve was just flesh and blood, and there was a vulnerability there.

When Obama learned the craft of covert hypnosis, he knew that he would be able to influenced people; especially young people. He knew that he might even shape history with the combination of his oratory skills and NLP.

I believe that this man has a demon. When I think back to his voice that was offensive to me, and the arrogance since he entered the world stage, it is so apparent that we are not looking at just a man. Satan has been leading this man for many years — grooming him for the office he now holds, and for the evil things he has done.

His rapid hatred of Israel and PM Netanyahu confirms his demon possession to me. I believe that Hitler was possessed as well. The common thread is Jew hatred. There are many people who hate Jews in this world, but Hitler was able to do something about his loathing of God’s people. In the same way, Obama is able to directly affect Israel with his threats and viscousness. His friendship with the Muslim Brotherhood and intense love for Islam makes it clear that he is being led by the evil one.

While researching for this article, I kept coming up with New Age terms like guided imagery and meditation, when I would simply type in NLP. Suddenly I realized that these were all interrelated.

What we see, hear and think has a great effect on us. When people meditate (the mystical kind) they empty their minds. That’s a dangerous thing to do when the evil one is able to put all sorts of impure and ungodly thoughts into our heads. That’s why Yoga and meditation is not for the Christian. We are called to meditate upon God’s Word – to fill our minds with His truths.

At the last two Christian events that Obama attended – the National Prayer Breakfast, and the Easter Breakfast, Obama took those opportunities to disparage Christians. He calls himself a Christian, and then turns around and speaks ill of them. Not ONE word spoken about the thousands of Christians who are dying in the name of Islam and by their hands. Obama is deceptive in all of his ways.

I believe that Obama is part of God’s judgment against America. We have removed God from schools, government and public places. One of our political parties voted God out of their platform, and booed Him. There have been over 60 million babies aborted in our country. Marriage is no longer defined as between one man and one woman.

Yes, there are still born again believers, but America as a whole has become a nation of pagans. God help us.

ONCE AGAIN, OUR PRESIDENT SPEAKS NEGATIVELY ABOUT CHRISTIANS. AT THE EASTER PRAYER BREAKFAST, HE SAID THAT CHRISTIANS DON’T ALWAYS SPEAK KINDLY ABOUT HIM. IT’S ALWAYS ABOUT HIM.

“They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.” 1 John 2:10 (KJV)

At the White House Easter Prayer Breakfast on Sunday, Obama said “On Easter, I do reflect on the fact that, as a Christian, I am supposed to love. And I have to say that sometimes, when I listen to less than loving expressions by Christians, I get concerned. But that’s a topic for another day.” “I was about to veer off; I am pulling it back,” he said with a smile. The president then appeared to pause before adding “that’s a topic for another day,” prompting laughter among the crowd.

Well, because we are sinners, and remain in these sinful bodies while we are on earth, yes – there will be times when we speak in a manner which does not please the Lord. If Mr. Obama was a Christian, he might be able to understand this.

OBAMA IGNORED THE SLAUGHTER OF CHRISTIANS IN KENYA DURING HIS REMARKS

But, if he is referring to Christians not agreeing with gay marriage and tax-payer funded abortion, and anything else which God tells us in His Word, is evil, then his words are meaningless.

For a president who has catered to the Muslim Brotherhood, isolated Israel from the White House, and is obviously a Muslim or a Muslim sympathizer – Obama saying this about Christians is the height of ignorance.

Does he speak of the thousands upon thousands of Christians who are being slaughtered on a daily basis by his beloved ISIS? We never hear a word. Does he mention even one word about the 148 Christians that were slaughtered in Kenya right before Easter by Muslim gunmen? Nope, not a word. But dare say something against Islam, and you will hear from him immediately. In fact, Obama said this in his best-selling book:

“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” – from Audacity Of Hope, page 261. Barack Obama

I know that I should be praying for Barack Obama. I must say, that it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been asked to do. In my flesh, I not only do not want to pray for him, but I hope every day that something will happen, and he will not be our president any longer.

A NARCISSIST DOES NOT TAKE KINDLY TO CRITICISM.

Narcissism is the pursuit of gratification from vanity or egotistic admiration of one’s own attributes. The term originated from the Greek mythology, where the young Narcissus fell in love with his own image reflected in a pool of water.

Sometimes I wonder about the religion of Barack Obama. Could he be a Muslim? Perhaps. But here is what I think. I believe that our president is such a narcissist, that he worships himself. He refuses to come onto Fox News, because they tell the truth about him.

There is one thing of which I am sure, and that is that Barack Obama is NOT a Christian. There could be a book called BAD FRUIT and the pages filled with the evil things this man has done in his life. Everything is calculated. He makes no mistakes. He has his evil agenda, and he sticks to it. He is unrepentant.

He is carefully and subtly placing thoughts into the hearts and minds of his followers, that Christians are evil. His left wing followers hold onto his every word. I believe that he is setting the stage for Christians to be arrested for hate speech, and prosecuted to the full extent of the law (according to Obama).

He will stand before Jesus one day, and if he does not repent, he will be judged and cast into hell for eternity.

I never thought that I would ever see a president of the United States disparaging Christians, and promoting Muslims in our society. I guess America got what it deserved.

“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
