A spokesperson for The Satanic Temple said they pulled out of the event because of ‘spineless, opportunistic corporations’

The Idaho chapter of The Satanic Temple (TST) withdrew from a Pride Month event for families and children after other sponsors dropped out following local news reports on the temple’s intention to offer renunciations of Christian baptisms.

“We are so excited to announce that we will have a booth and be participating Coeur D’Alene’s ‘Pride in the Park’ event next Saturday, June 11th from 10am-3pm!,” Idaho TST wrote in now-deleted Facebook post reported on by NBC affiliate KOBI. “We will have merchandise for sale, be offering support to our community and performing unbaptisms for those interested! Just know, Satan loves you for you! Hail Satan!” *******OH YES – HE WILL LOVE YOU INTO HELL!

The “family-friendly” celebration, called “Pride in the Park,” was hosted by the North Idaho Pride Alliance (NIPA) in Coeur d’Alene on Saturday. Dozens of masked men, suspected of being tied to a White nationalist group, were arrested near the event after they were found packed in the back of a U-Haul truck.

The Satanic Temple Idaho initially joined the ACLU of Idaho, Everytown for Gun Safety, Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Ecumenical Catholic Communion Church, Idaho State Police District 1 and a local public library in sponsoring the event.

A spokesperson for NIPA told Fox News Digital that the Idaho Satanic Temple “dropped out of the event on their own accord and will not be present at Pride in the Park.”

NIPA did not immediately respond to a follow-up query asking if their organization received backlash for TST’s involvement in their event.

TST spokesperson Lucien Greaves told Fox News that TST’s Idaho congregation pulled out of the event after receiving “a high volume of threats and harassing messages regarding their involvement,” but said he heard they ultimately decided to withdraw in response to other sponsors pulling out in protest against TST being a part of it.

“Apparently these sponsors are not willing to support the LGBTQ community if The Satanic Temple supports them too,” said Greaves. “Having sought to assist with Pride, rather than cause conflict within it, our congregation opted to pull out so as not force organizers to accept that their real dedication to inclusion would deprive them of sponsorship from spineless, opportunistic corporations that seek to purchase an unjustified image of inclusivity, so long as it appears relatively uncontroversial to the mainstream consumer.”

One of the events at “Pride in the Park” specifically promoted by TST included an offering of “unbaptisms.” According to an explanation from TST of Austin, the ritual of unbaptism aligns with the Third Tenet of The Satanic Temple, which says: “One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.”

Unbaptism is “an opportunity for those in the community who feel they were baptized without their consent to revoke their baptisms,” according to TST Austin. “This ritual is intended to provide bodily liberation and catharsis to those who have been subjected to unwanted religious indoctrination.”

The Catechism of the Catholic Church says baptism “is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.” ****Don’t forget that Fox News is all about Catholicism

If the reader has any doubts about who is causing the mass chaos in America, the title of this article should clarify the source of the insanity.

The headline I read just before this one was:

We’ve been told “No singing in church services.”  Actually, Governor Newsom is banning all indoor church services and now in-home Bible studies as well.  But he is encouraging “protests” in the streets, even though he knows that the so-called protests always escalate into riots. 

He has no problem with that.

I wonder if unbelieving neighbors in CA will turn in Christians if they hear worship songs coming from homes?  This is no joke, brethren. God haters relish the thought of bringing harm of any kind to Christians.

Satanic Temple offers scholarships to high school grads

SALEM, Mass. (AP) — The Satanic Temple is launching a college scholarship for high school students.

The Salem, Massachusetts-based group, which advocates for stricter separation of church and state, among other civil rights issues, said Tuesday that the $500 “Devil’s Advocate Scholarship” is open to any 2020 graduate.

To apply, students must answer one of two questions. One asks applicants to describe what they’ve done to promote the organization’s tenets and mission. The other asks them to describe a teacher who “crushed your spirit, undermined your self-confidence, and made you hate every minute you were forced to be in school.”

Malcolm Jarry, the organization’s co-founder said the scholarship aims to draw attention to the problems of compulsory education.

He said the Satanic Temple is opposed to mandatory schooling because it “violates students’ fundamental civil rights and ingrains obedience to unearned authority.”

The scholarships, Jarry said, “serve to reward those who embrace individualism, empathy, free-thought, and skepticism toward the oppressive institution they were forced to endure.”

The organization says applicants can respond in an essay, poem, film, or other creative medium.

Applications will be accepted until Aug. 31. Winners will be announced in September and their works will be displayed on the Satanic Temple’s website. source

Obviously, the offer of winning $500 for a scholarship is not really the point. The caveat is to recruit more followers for Satan. The devil watches the riots and killing in the streets; he knows that these vulnerable young minds are ripe for the picking.

We know that the people on the streets are unbelievers, but it is a different thing entirely for a person to pledge their allegiance to Satan.  Think about the coming Tribulation. Some during that time will become Tribulation Saints. Although they will be hunted down and beheaded by Antichrist, their souls will be in heaven when they die.

Those who worship Satan this side of Tribulation will most likely take the mark of the Beast gladly and swiftly. They will be sealing their fate to be cast into hell with Satan and his fallen angels for eternity.

The RAGE of the Evil one

One only has to look at our cities to have a glimpse of the explosive rage of Satan in these last days. Followers of Jesus know that the devil knows Scripture better than most people.

Remember when Satan tempted our Lord in the wilderness?

Luke 4:1-13

“And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.  If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is  written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:  And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.”

Think of the audacity of Satan to tempt the Lord of Glory.  Satan knows exactly who Jesus is, yet that did not stop him from attempting to end our Lord’s mission here on earth.
 
 
If the evil one did this to the Son of God, certainly he will draw in as many souls as he can. He knows his time is short.
 
Brethren, if you have family or friends who are unbelievers, and they have been persuaded to join the demonic forces on the streets of our cities – show them this article.  If even one soul is brought back from believing the lies – isn’t that worth it?
 
This is not a time for shrinking back. If ever there was a time for Christians to be bold in their witness to the unbelieving world, it is now.
