In the Wake of Trump’s Decision to Pull Out Troops from Syria, Brett McGurk, U.S. Envoy to Anti-ISIS Coalition Resigns

I voted for and have supported President Donald Trump.  My readers know this.

But I must say that in current days, I have not had a good feeling about decisions made by the Trump administration involving Syria.

The decision to pull out America troops from Syria shocked me.  This decision not only leaves Israel in a terribly vulnerable position, but the Kurds are also at high risk because of Turkey’s Erdogan.

Erdogan from Turkey played a large part in Trump’s decision.  Also, Erdogan told our President that Turkish troops would be invading the Kurds in Syria and that the U.S. should get out of the way.
So Trump is taking his cues from Erdogan?
This I do not understand at all.  It makes me wonder who (besides Erdogan) is giving military advice to our president.
ISIS is still alive
I heard a man being interviewed on Fox about the withdrawal from Syria.  He hailed the decision as a good and sound one and then went on to say that ISIS has been completely defeated.   REALLY?
Is that why the leaders of ISIS have in the last few days warned America of an impending drone attack against NY?
What is going on??
General Mattis is resigning. How many more of our military leaders will follow suit?
Brett McGurk, the U.S. envoy for the global coalition to defeat Islamic State (ISIS), has resigned in the wake of President Trump’s decision to pull U.S. troops out of Syria, Fox News confirmed Saturday — coming on the heels of the resignation of Defense Secretary Jim Mattis earlier this week.

U.S. officials said this week that the Trump administration is making plans to pull all 2,000 troops out of Syria, and Trump later tweeted that “we have defeated ISIS in Syria, my only reason for being there during the Trump Presidency.”

Ground troops moved into Syria in 2015 to combat ISIS in the region, amid an escalating Syrian civil war. Trump had talked about pulling out of Syria before, but military leaders had warned about ISIS re-emerging should the U.S. do so. There is also concern about abandoning the U.S.’ Kurdish allies.

On Thursday, Trump announced that Mattis was retiring in February. Mattis’ resignation letter said that Trump had a right to a Defense Secretary “whose views are better aligned with yours” on policy. Sources told Fox News this week that Mattis’ resignation was “in protest” over the president’s national security policies and that more resignations could be coming.

The Associated Press, which first reported McGurk’s resignation, reported that he said in a resignation letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that ISIS was on the run, but wasn’t yet defeated and that U.S. work in Syria wasn’t yet done. Fox News has learned that McGurk submitted his resignation letter on Friday, a day after Secretary Mattis resigned. His resignation is effective December 31.

McGurk, appointed by former President Barack Obama in 2015, had said in a Dec. 11 press conference that it would be “reckless” to consider ISIS defeated and that the “enduring defeat of a group like this means you can’t just defeat their physical space and then leave.”

“Nobody is saying that they are going to disappear. Nobody is that naive,” he told reporters. “So we want to stay on the ground and make sure that stability can be maintained in these areas.”

An official told the Associated Press that McGurk was planning to leave the job in mid-February, but felt he could no longer continue after Trump’s decision and Mattis’ resignation.

McGurk previously served as a deputy assistant secretary of state for Iraq and Iran, and led secret side talks with Iran about the release of American prisoners during the negotiations for the Iran nuclear deal.

McGurk had previously worked as a Supreme Court law clerk to the late Chief Justice William Rehnquist. He had also served on former President George W. Bush’s National Security Council staff, where in 2007 and 2008, he was the lead U.S. negotiator on security agreements with Iraq.

McGurk’s departure is the latest sign of criticism from Trump’s allies in his administration, and in Congress, for the decision.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. recently blasted Trump for his decision to pull troops out of Syria, calling it an “Obama-like decision” — an allusion to Obama’s decision to pull troops from Iraq in 2011. In return, Trump fired back, saying it was difficult to understand why Graham would be against saving countless lives.

“So hard to believe that Lindsey Graham would be against saving soldier lives & billions of $$$. Why are we fighting for our enemy, Syria, by staying & killing ISIS for them, Russia, Iran & other locals? Time to focus on our Country & bring our youth back home where they belong!” Trump tweeted.

On Saturday, Trump said that ISIS is “largely defeated” and that other countries, such as Turkey could take care of whatever is left.   source

Brethren,  I am trying so hard to keep my eyes focused on the Lord.  I am aware (as we all should be) that decisions like the one being made by the White House may seem alarming, but we have to understand that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled to the letter.

It seems to me that decisions such as this one only brings us closer to the Ezekiel 38 great war.  In that war, the Word says that every nation will stand against Israel. It also says that the God of Israel will be her Defender:

“And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord God, “that My fury will show in My face.  For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel,  so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’ I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord God.

Every man’s sword will be against his brother.  And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.  Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord”  (Ezekiel 38: 18-23).   (Emphasis mine)

I bolded a part of the aforementioned Scripture for a good reason.  See what the Old Testament says about Ishmael and his descendants (the Arabs):

“He shall be a wild man;
His hand shall be against every man,
And every man’s hand against him.
And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren”   ( Genesis 16:12).

Only the Lord knows where this decision by our president will lead.  If we are indeed moving closer to the Ezekiel War, then brethren – do look up, because our Redemption draws near!!

How Can I Be Saved?

Shalom b’Yeshua

MARANATHA!

What wasn’t reported by the main aka lame stream media is that US was given ultimatum by Russia and Turkey to get out. See: “Russia Rejects Trump Meeting Warning ‘We Are Back In The Glorious 1970s With Europe In The Crosshairs Of Our Missiles” @ http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index2726.htm
There are other stories as well (too numerous to cite here but at that web site) about China’s retaliation over their top business leader being detained / under arrest. Actually under the previous admin (who created, funded, armed and trained ISIS) several attacks by the US ended up taking Russian advisors’ lives, and Putin did show restraint as he had dialogue with POTUS knowing that Deep State was responsible and Trump was working on neutralising them. Q has been now sending out public via social media, messages to the people of US to prepare for rough seas so to speak, as the move vs Deep State is getting ramped up. Word is more will accelerate after Christmas. Before anyone nay says that site, by the way, I’m well aware how they’ve been maligned by the elite’s (who control all mainstream media and social media) disinfo campaign but my outlook is ‘wait and see’ and I cull info from a variety of sources, including AJ, RT, and allnewspipeline as well as SQ

Thank you for the breakdown. But I believe that this is Our God’s letting.. No man can open a door God shuts, neither close a that Our God opens. Man cannot change Our God’s prophecies. Yes, True Believers LOOK UP.
