What Many Are Thinking But Are Too Afraid To Say

This article may not be received by all of my readers.  But it’s time I write what I have been feeling in my heart for a very long time. If this article makes you angry and you pull away from reading my pieces – that is between you and the Lord.

During the presidential primaries, my husband and I supported a different candidate – not Donald Trump.  When we went to the polls to vote in the final election, our vote was more “against” Hillary Clinton; not so much “for” Donald Trump.

For us it was the lesser of the evils.

Now don’t get me wrong – Trump has done much in our country to get people working and to stimulate our economy.  Our rate of unemployment is at a record low, and for this we thank President Trump.

Jerusalem

We rejoiced with the rest of Evangelicals when Trump declared Jerusalem the “Capital of Israel” and then said that our embassy would be moved to Jerusalem.

The Fine Print

What we didn’t know was that part of this “deal” was that Trump would ask PM Netanyahu to give up four neighborhoods in Jerusalem, and that this area would be marked off for the capital of the future State of Palestine.

Trump is all about making deals.  But he does NOT understand that the holy City of God must never be divided.  That’s why I have said in the past that Trump does not understand the dynamics between Israel and the so-called Palestinians. Nor does his son-in-law Jared Kushner.

See this article in which I wrote about this topic:

President Trump Does Not Understand the Israeli/Palestinian Conflict

We are to worship God alone

I am horrified when I see other Christians putting Trump on a pedestal. It’s as if he has become their new savior.  As Christians we trust in Jesus Christ alone!

Saying that Trump is a fellow believer is premature

Only God knows the heart of Donald Trump.  But we are admonished to look for fruit worthy of repentance in a person who declares that they are born again. Brethren – I HOPE that he has repented and trusted our Lord Jesus as his Savior. But since I found out about his intentions to divide Jerusalem, I am more skeptical about his Salvation.  BUT  – as I said – only God knows his heart.

Strip Clubs and Casinos

I had hoped that if Trump truly met and received our Lord Jesus, that he would close down these sinful businesses of his.  That would have been a sign to the rest of us that he has truly been born again.

Brethren – Worship God alone!  Do NOT elevate Donald Trump to a place where he should never be!  He is a man with flaws, faults and sins (just like the rest of us) but don’t forget that President Trump may not be a believer.

God is STILL in control

Our God knew that this would happen with His Holy City before the foundations of the earth were laid.  He is omniscient!   He put Donald Trump in place as our president to further fulfill Bible prophecy!

Our president’s eyes need to be opened by our Lord. He needs to read the Word of God. And in case he is NOT born again, let us pray for his salvation.

If he read his Bible, he would see this:

“And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it” (Zechariah 12:3).

If President Trump had a healthy fear of God, I believe that he never would have decided to divide God’s own city – Jerusalem.

If he truly understood how God sees Jerusalem, and the warnings in His Word about dividing up Jerusalem – Donald Trump would fall on his face and ask God to forgive him.

Shalom b’Yeshua
